Thanks MR, I'd say Coleraine are Derry's best chance of winning it, but they've got St galls on their side of the draw.  Glenullin seem to be racking up the goals, which is a bit surprising with the Bradleys being out. Hopefully they will put on a good show and get to the latter stages.

If St Galls win they'll become the greatest 7s team for a same set of players.

Down are some county for 7s football. Would their clubs concentrate on this in training etc?

We are just naturally good at everything we do.

Wouldn't be deadly at the politics either.

Bryansford's victory will be a great boost for their number 1 fan Jim Wells

wouldnt be great at the old defending either

DownFanatic

Great achievement for Bryansford considering that their panel didn't include their county stars Kalum King and Conor Maginn and three of their best players in Philip Bonny, Timmy Hanna and Luke Howard.

There are 7's tournaments in Down is there not?  Teams who play 7's more often than others obviously do better in 7's tournaments.  St Galls frequently enter 7's tournaments too.  Was it a weakened St Galls side down at the weekend?
