For the opening game of the senior championship it was a pretty poor standard from both teams. Conditions no doubt played a part, but some of the quality of play and decision making was not what was expected.

Edendork done well to get over the line, especially with McCurry very well marshalled by young McKeown. They will need to step it up in the next round though if Darren hits form he could put away a team on his own.

Looking forward to the rest of the weekends football, some cracking games ahead with tonight to be a huge battle between two top teams. Dromore to win by 2.

Don't think anymore here actually thinks Dromore stand a chance. Carmen by quite a few I'd say.

Whats the point in all that infrastructure up in Kildress with performances like that. Division 3 football awaits for them it looks like.

Donaghmore haven't got the bottle to win an O'Neill cup. Most of top teams have men to mark Cassidy and Cush. Haven't got much outside that.

Dungannon be a dark horse from East Tyrone still have big men and I know I wouldn't fancy getting them in draw anyway!

Any truth that Kildress businessman has made a large donation to Clogher? Presumably to theow the play off? Probably smart for Clogher to accept money if true they where heading down anyway

Devlins are good footballers love to see you try follow them round the pitch. Conor cush been on panel before same with Pete Og they have had chances. Interesting to see if they'd even go back if called upon.

Ryan Kelly again good player but probably unlikely to be called up at his age.

Just wanted to congratulate the spice boys on. winning the Division 1 league title. Maybe the new formula for winning the league could be winter Hyrox, overpriced coffee and weekly spray tan! All jokes aside solid team and could be a dark horse for championship.

Trillick vs Galbally - The Fermanagh men overcome Galbally with little bother
Omagh vs Moortown - Omagh, the slightly less worse of the two teams, easy draw for whoever meets them in the next round
Loughmacrory vs Dungannon - Lough hitting form with key men back, will give a valiant effort to retain their crown but ultimately fall short like the others over the last 20 odd years
Donaghmore vs Eglish - Donaghmores youth success finally starting to make its way into senior level, wont be their turn this year but
Coalisland vs Clonoe - Clonoe defeat the neighbours by 3, with Coalisland too busy trying to prove how hardy they are
Cappagh vs Errigal - The original coffee makers defeat Errigal who are still down a few key men, though if KC win the league the copious amount of flat whites and croissants consumed could hinder their chances

Can't see the Hyrox runners beating Errigal as they getting key men back. Heard a lot of KC players have Hyrox Rome booked for end September and their hair and blow dry and spray tan booked a few days before. They don't plan to go far in championship!!!
