Cannot make sense of it surely they can't be relying on Quinn that much.

Was up at the game myself, good game it was, from what I gathered they are still down about 5/6 men from their championship team that played last year.

No real standout this week in the Macrory Cup. Not to be hateful but maybe one of the worst Macrory final performances I've seen in a while

Dungannon have Daire Devlin, James Mulgrew, Aodhan Quinn & Eoin Long on the Tyrone Under 20s and McMurray, McKeown and McGeary on an earlier training panel and none of them except McGeary again showed they are at that level tonight. Very poor performance for the calibre of player on the team.

Mcgeary getting dropped and no playing for Armagh u20s now...

Good list, i agree with all bar 3B, Tatts have to be certain to win this one with the lads back. Cant see naomh eoghan anywhere near competing with top teams in division 2.

That Naomh Eoghan team could surprise people. they had a few good results against big teams last year if i remember. Gave our lads a right seeing to in newtown must have been 20 points in it. That Mayse lad away to Dergview as well, they might get a full year out of him if hes stepping back a bit in the ground ball

Mayse does more against newtown than he does add to them. Watched them a few times last year and he gives a lot of abuse to his own players. Know doubt he is a quality player but i dont think he will add much to them this year. Their youth would be the biggest issue for me. They havent added much in the past 2 year to the panel. Big players like devine, mcsorley and kevy gallgher will be key for them again this year.

Is Gallagher not retired and taking Eskra? If so that's a big miss for them

This has definitely been one of the best Tyrone championships I've watched, throughout all 3 divisions.

Just back from the final. Loughmacrory absolutely deserved that. Thought Trillick were going to steal it but not to be.
Gripe though... why does refs blow so often when a player takes off on a solo run after being fouled? I thought that was the idea to keep the game going. Happened a lot today for no apparent reason.

Think he was right on the few occasions he called it back. One particular time the Lough number 4 bounced to get the game going rather than soloing. Another time it was miles away from where the foul was.

Loughmacrory by far the better side with the better forwards. 1 point flattered Trillick. Ref done a sound job.

Don't disagree with you on any of that. Just found it frustrating amount of times player was called back when heading off after a foul. Maybe ref had reasons I didnt pick up on. Other than that I thought ref was OK.

Lough players kept bouncing the ball and running instead of the solo. Ref was spot on

People talk about Carrickmore and Ardboe being good championship teams while most of the players now have never seen either team win one. Both teams don't have any scoring forwards and definitely not winning any in the next 5 years. Always good to see...

Not sure how you could watch Carrickmore and come to the conclusion McGarrity and Fullerton aren't scoring forwards lol

Aye both of them put the fear of god into defenders and that's why Penrose is still playing and Donnelly only quit in the last few years. Could probably name close to 15 forwards better than them two...

Predictions for the weekend:

Lough vs carmen- carmen take this by 2. Experience wins it.

Coalisland vs moy- moy, think the 5/6 week lay off for coalisland will play a factor having the moy only having 2 weeks.

Clogher vs drumragh- clogher by 3 in an high scoring contest.

Clonoe vs eglish- eglish, Clonoe haven't been at it at all in the championship while Eglish have beat the teams who have came 4th, 5th and 2nd.
They should deserve to win after this run
