Well done Clogher. The bookies had Emyvale as hot favourites for that one.

I can understand the amalgamation thing, it would mean the players could play at a higher level which would be better for their development. However what about the actual grade 4 teams, if teams are amalgamating who are the grade 4 teams going to play? Only going to be about 5 teams in grade 4

I'm sure when people get married they aren't planning their divorce. Things happen, when they put the plan forward they certainly thought they could sustain the numbers all year. I would say you will see a better return this year. I personally would rather have a seperate development league but this is what the county board has decided. User Square_ball typical of the TikTok generation wants everything instant or its no good.

Yes in their first year in existence they should have been winning the double

First thing that needs to happen is that it needs to go back to the old disciplinary rules of striking is a month ban/4 game ban. The one game ban has never worked.

Quote from: Insiderinfo on October 28, 2025, 12:31:06 PMHearing rumours of Mickey Harte and Seamus Mullholland being brought in as Donaghmore senior management

Any truth to the rumours?

Would be ridiculous, the money going about the clubs at the minute for managers is mental

Untrue. Donaghmore management is already in place for 2026.

Not sure that's true. Was the only game involving a 3a team: Augher V Tattyreagh

Strabane and Drumragh should have had a game to then play a D2 team. Massive oversight and disrespectful to junior teams.

Why is there no playoffs from 3a to 2.

Clonoe have now won 19 games in a row. 0 losses. 0 draws.

Clogher started the game really well and Drumragh never looked like they had the energy to get back into it.

Was talking to a former Eglish player during the week. He said that if you go through both teams and compare players goalie for goalie, corner back for corner back etc he said you would pick the Eglish man every time.

Quote from: TheBorderBull on October 16, 2025, 11:44:56 AMFrom my sources in the county board Connor McKennas registration to Eglish wasn't completed on time meaning he technically shouldn't have been eligible to line out against the Moy. There's talk that the issue could lead to a formal objection being lodged, and if it's upheld, the result of that game might be overturned. Some within the board are saying it was just an administrative oversight but the Moy are considering their options and want the games result overturned as McKenna was technically an ineligible player meaning they have grounds to appeal the decision.
Who exactly did this come from, you seem to be the only person in the county with this information

If you check back to my posts before the semi final I had heard the membership concern.

Great stuff mate,  hilarious 😂
Any more anecdotes for us?

I was also speaking to a player from Eglish. I said I suppose you are being tortured ahead of the final for one of the free tickets. He told me that they do not get any free tickets for the final. I was gobsmacked, county board wouldn't even give players a few free tickets for their efforts in the championship.
