Football used to be a manly game where even if you where hurt you wouldn't lye down and let the other boy know that he had hurt you at least thats the way I was brought up to play the game.

The amount of diving that is going on in football these days is unbelievable and as has already been posted all counties have boys at it but anyone who is trying to suggest that Tyrone is not the worst for it or that they didn't play a very big part in bringing in to the GAA in totally nuts.

Is there any truth in the rumour that Joe O'Reilly is to appeal his conviction using what he calls 'the taking the Mickey Harte Argument'. Apparently he will argue that because Mobile Phone evidence isn't used in all murder trials that therefore it shouldn't have been used in his. In a statement made from prison, via mobile phone, Mr. O'Reilly said 'yea I hope to have my unfair conviction quashed by 'taking the Mickey'.'

My missus brought our young lassie to the doctor a month ago. Young Lassie is 2 1/2. She is playing away at toys in the waiting lounge and in comes this large black woman. Now, we never copped it till then, but our young lassie never seen a black person before. She runs away from the toys as the black woman sat beside them. So the missus says to the wee one, would you not say hello to the nice woman and what does she reply "I don't like them people" What do you say to that!

Thats class, I'd say your missus took some beamer.

So over all a few key mistakes and bits of bad luck and indiscipline cost us a lot. We also need to get bigger and really can't afford to have so many of these amateur type physiques like O'Gara, Cullen and Wallace on the park at any one time.

Ireland were most certainly not unlucky and were well beaten. The score-line is reflective of the match. France were much superior.

The only Irish players emerging with any credit from that game were Darcy, O'Connell and possibly Ferris.

Thought O'Connell was poor myself, knocked the ball on at least 3 times maybe 4.

Heard about this on the radio this morning. Hard to believe that there are people that would do things like this, but as somebody stated earlier if the sc**bag who done this is caught and brought to court he'll get off with it with a supended sentence or community service.
