A great night for liverpool. City didn't even have a shot on target. 3-0, it should be enough to see Liverpool through.

Holy smoley that was a rollercoaster!!!  Clean sheet was just as immense as the 3 goals. TAA was brilliant particularly after the recent roastings he has had. Henderson being out means he can rip into Saturday game. Really would play a second team on Saturday as much as possible. Still worried about next week. Need one goal and I think we can get it as City will have to push on but it's far from over.

Dunphy singled out TAA as Liverpool's weak link before the game. I thought he was superb.
Liverpool can lose the 2nd leg 4-1 and still go through..

Bit stupid of whoever organised the welcoming party.  Was only going to go one way when flares are used making it look like a battleground.

On the plus side my outside bet on Liverpool to win the UCL at 12/1 last week looks much better value tonight.  ;)

City now 20/1 for the punters out there.
