Kerry on the other hand were all over the place discipline wise. Philly McMahon had a good article on Saturday about the potential for what ultimately unfolded and he called it right. It played right into Donegal hands. Where Kerry's at right now, they could be doing with a Kildare or Cavan.

This is the earliest Kerry have faced a knockout game in years I reckon given that they are 5 games away from winning Sam.

People aren't going to fall into the Kerry yerra trap again?

This time Last year the same questions was asked of Kerry as Meath swept past and into the All-Ireland quarter-finals. 

Kerry come alive in knock out championship football and whoever are unlucky to draw them next will make their exit from the championship and if it's Kildare or Cavan expect hammering similar to Preliminary Quarter-Final on June 21st last year.

Kerry players encroached? I saw 7/8 Donwgal players make their way towards Clifford, then the Kerry players all wayed in after that. Nothing been said about the constant play acting going on. Clifford may have got a red early on, i though it be a yellow.The one at half time was nothing.

The quickest anybody ran in that game was Murphy trying to get into the fight.

Kerry were poor in the first half, even making basic technical mistakes that you'd see in div 4 of the league. In the 2nd half they were non existent, missing injured players and red card are no excuse for throwing in the towel. Just think how Joe Brolly must be feeling  with Kerry getting schmozzled and Cork imperious with 14 players.

I'd say the officials were clear on the red card at half time but I wouldn't be surprised had they accidentally gazed upon the GAA+ half time focus on the incidents.

That would be max fireworks as Donegal will go mad at double standards.

The growing Kerry Donegal rivalry / hatred is great if they can avoid getting men lined and ruining the spectacle.

Clifford might have got away, his team were well beaten. However, Jimmy does have to get a rap otherwise you are making an eejit of Ger Brennan, and if like in any game if one team gets a red card then the other team are then at risk.

Tyrone odds were probably good value, I still recall betting on them at 33/1 in 2008.

Understood CCCC can review footage and implement ban.

No idea why we cant do some sort of video replay system. Clifford leads with elbow a lot, it might put an end to that.

It's a fair point to make that Murphy's robust approach in the league final wound Kerry up for this one.  I wonder will this ultimately come back to bite Donegal if McGuinness gets a ban.
