Who the f**k is going to pay 1500 to watch Katie Taylor?! Even her biggest fan Laoislad would baulk at that.
'Tis only half a days wages sure...
Well worth it to see Ireland's greatest ever sports person.
Nordie Tayto is shite

Pricing not as bad as i thought, could fill it yet!

Eddie on the hard sell already. Katie was never good at the media stuff so it'll be up to Eddie to convince everyone to go.

I think the undercard is going to have to go some to get the tickets shifted to boxing fans as well. The main event will be one way traffic. It'll be an easy nights work for Katie.

Aiming it at the famiky market, namely women and kids.

Couldn't we have a GAA element, Micheál Burns vs Michael Murphy for instance?

Don't underestimate the event junkie culture now, people going to arenas to listen to people who do podcasts ffs

But people like podcasts. Huge market. We probably all do a couple.

Not sure the casual boxing fan is out there. I do hope she gets a crowd, and if she get get this on Netflix it won't matter as much, but I can't see it. Expect lots of competition give aways

My point is would you go to an arena to listen to them talking ? I wouldn't but each to their own

I see Joanne Cantwell interviewing Katie at half time in Leinster Final here.

I'd be the same. Like a podcast in the car to pass the time but I wouldn't listen to one in the house let alone go to a venue.

Why go to an arena to listen to a band when you have them at home on CD?

People going to talks isn't new.
