He saw a Rush v Swords youths row, panicked and tried to drive off. He has nothing to do with the scrap.

This has been going on for years. Younglings from all over North County Dublin go to the beach of a sunny day and then mill each other. The Gardai shut them down at beach x and they go somewhere else. In fact I would suggest this is going on for centuries but we didn't have social media to tell us all about it.
