What do you guys make of the Rooney injured or not saga?

Sounds like fergie pretended to the media he was injured but was he really dropped for poor form?

Whatever the truth it wasn't a wise move by Wayne to go public & contradict his manager! we all know what happened to players that did that before

Wish Rooney had kept his mouth shut. If he wants to get his head right he should stay away from all these silly photoshoots and the mandatory interviews that come with it. Is the 120 thousand a week not enough pay without endorsing all sorts of crap and being dragged through the papers every day?
He looks a shadow of the player he was last season and injury or no injury he probably deserves a spell on the sidelines. Fergie probably used the injury story to shield him from the 'dropped' headlines and to give him time to get his head right.
Don't buy this crap that he's stalling on a new deal and could walk but Ferguson will definitely be fuming at his comments.

I must say I am flattered by LL's obvious obsession with me but as a young, freshly married man I think his obsessions should lay elsewhere. I would suggest some timeout from the board LL as you seem prone to little hissy fits lately. Is there something bothering you?

So back to Premier League action tomorrow v one of the form team's West Brom! sounds like all the player's came back injury free from international duty & Giggs is fit again (only Valencia and Hargreaves injured?)

Will be interesting to see which team Fergie selects with a Champions league game on the horizon
