Just reading through the Antrim Camogie page who are playing D1 with all their best players available and performing well. Then in Derry we are in D2 and doing very poorly, tanked at the weekend and an embarrassing write up on the game on the Camogie facebook. The vast majority of the best players from the top teams in the county are not playing. What happened from 3 seasons ago when we had most of the best players playing and won the All Ireland intermediate. 2 players from s'neil, one I think from my own club Swatragh and none from Bellaghy who had 7 there over the past 3years. Screen I think has 2 there as well. Something seriously wrong when that is happening

Murray plays in that full forward line and he's the best I've seen one on one for Derry in the past 20 years (including the two Bradleys).

Murray has beat too many men down that end line to be saying that, beat Jack Glynn and Johnny McGrath multiple times over 30m on a dodgy groin last year, set up a goal from one. Actual problem is getting him room and lads in scoring positions if he passes

I think he wins the ball out in front fairly regularly, if he's starting around 13m line I'm not sure I want him running 20/25m down the pitch to win a ball too many times in a game.

Maybe the fact that Derry don't kick it long that often could be swaying your opinion but in Murray and Loughlin we have 2 superb ball winners.
Personally prefer Murray getting the ball around 20m out heading towards goal and beating men at this point.

I'm not really sure what this argument is but when Murray is isolated and gets the ball one on one he is so fast and direct the defender has no chance it's a foul or a score.

I'm hoping there's lots of work going on to make sure that happens a lot in the Championship!

Wildweasel has let himself down a bagful. Murray is the very definition of a forward with power and pace to stand up defenders and beat them which he does consistently when he gets direct ball sent in.
