Insofar as you can gather from the slits for their eyes and hoodies, it would seem to me that there are plenty of whiteys acting the goat also.

Scum comes in all colours. PC Britian needs to forget about not offending certain comunities and get heavey handed now. Let the army at them. There is no pretty outcome to this now so it is a matter of putting it to a stop immidiately. The county can not afford to have this for a week. If a few of these bits of sh1t happen to get a bullet then so be it.

Yeah, that worked in Derry in 1972 after all. No-one cared that some in the crowd 'happened to get a bullet'.

Here we go ::)

How do you compare a peacefull march in Derry with what is happening in England.

Well, the security forces were concerned to reclaim the streets and round up the 'young hooligans' in 1972 so there is that, but my point is more that, whatever the situation, the 'Bloody Sunday' approach (err on the side of slaughter) is not likely to be anything other than counterproductive. You were using exactly the sort of language Tories and Unionists were using in the early 70s and beyond.

This is an extract from a bit I read earlier

QuoteA 71-year-old man was pulled from his burning home after looters torched a newsagent below.

Police had to push back rioters and knocked down the pensioner's door as he pleaded for help.

Neighbour Andy Hutchins, 38, said; "He was out the window screaming for help. He came out crying his eyes out. It's dreadful. What has he done to deserve that?"

These animals need to be stopped by what ever means necessary, shame on you comparing them to the victims of Bloody Sunday >:(

He wasn't comparing the rioters to the victims of Blood Sunday you fool,he was saying if you start getting heavy handed and firing off bullets then someone innocent could get and probably would get shot the same as what happened at Bloody Sunday.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

1400: Deputy Assistant Commissioner Stephen Kavanagh says plastic bullets - never used before during British disturbances - have been considered as "one of the tactics" available to officers at the riots.

"That's a tactic that will be used by the Metropolitan Police if deemed necessary," he says.

Sits back, waits for the inevitable .......

Hearing that Police have given residents in certain areas of Liverpool warnings that their area may be targeted tonight. Also hearing that stuff happening in surrounding smaller cities. There are some complete plonkers in this world.

Radda bout yeee

Don't know if i'm heading off in the wrong direction here but do the goverment not have to shift the most of the blame here?
The common trait in these people is that they come from poor boroughs with low unemployment. They are probably the people who are getting hit hardest in the recession and even harder with Osbournes OTT measures to cut the deficit!!! Whilst his lot and bankers etc haven't felt an ounce of the pinch and 'looted' expenses!!! - these people have seen this and now its got to the stage where they have resorted to a last measure - being a sc**bag and stealing off their own communitys!
What do the government do - fly half their cabinet home from their 4th holiday of the year to go on TV to tell these people - you are thugs and criminals (state the obvious)!!!!

THE WHOLE THING STINKS FROM TOP TO BOTTOM!

I think a shift is a different thing in the North than it is in the Republic.

Anyone see the clip in TV3, a boy with a head injury is robbed by half a dozen scumfuckers as he stands dazed, head bleading, then is left standing confused on the side of a road with cars whizzing past.

Animals need putting down.

OK - I might as well join in with my own piece of kitchen sink sociology. All species from lions to monkeys have problems with young feral, unsocialised males. All species have more or less (usually less) effective means of dealing with them, from culling to isolation. The human species had a very effective culling method for millennia - the young unattached males were primarily the ones who got to fight the wars. These days, the technology of the major powers has developed to the point where they fight wars by remote control and the only people who get killed in numbers are the armies and civilians of the third world countries they attack.

Since we all hope we won't have a major war in which we in Europe are the ones to die in the hundreds of thousands, society needs to find effective ways of managing the young feral male problem.
