Coalisland were far from their best tonight but semi finals are all about getting the right result.Kildress gave away a couple of soft goals and had plenty of posession but lacked the killer instinct up front.Fianna will be determined to improve on their last final performance when perhaps the hype got to them.

Very exciting minor game in which Ardboe bt Stewartstown 2-14 to 3-10.Ardboe were 9 down at ht but came back well to win it with the last play of the game.

thought the referee (some bald guy from trillick) could have used common sense and blown it when ardboe drew level in injury time and give both teams another crack at it.

it would also have saved our player from a serious injury immediately after.

the 1st ardboe goal was a joke. our full back was pushed over the line and the referee blew for a free out. even though the ref blew his whistle the tube of an umpire then proceeded to raise the green flag and the referee changed his mind about the free out and gave the goal. maybe he was tyring to even it up with our 1st goal but the difference was the ardboe keeper dropped it over the line with no pressure from anybody and the ref hadnt blown his whistle for a free.

having said that fair play to ardboe, they played really well in the 2nd half and good luck in the final.

feel sick having lost this game and also feel sick having to pay £8 to watch a minor league game. had no interest in coalisland v kildress so left after the minor game. to make things worse as i was leaving fianna supporters were only handing over fivers going in to the match. bad day overall. >:(

How do you know it was only fianna people were paying £5. You saying the gate people were cheating the Kildress supporters?

Have to say here and now that that did not happen as I and many other supporters  (both Killdress and Coalisland) were going into the field just before the senior match at 5pm. We all paid the full subscription of £8.

Indeed I would like to bring up the business of the half time draw. Why only 1 draw of £100. considering how much is lifted. Same at Omagh during Tyrone half time games. Would the amount of rickets being sold not warrant a few extra prizes?

Clarshack, would have to agree with you about Ardboe's first goal, should have been a free out alright.I think it was Mickey McCarron from Fintona who reffed it,gave some baffling decisions throughout and in my opinion was too fond of getting the book out.Stewartstown deserved another crack at it but you don't always get what you deserve in football. From an Ardboe perspective it looked a lost cause at times but the lads showed great heart and determination to come back and win it.Any word on the young lad that was injured?

Any craic

KIDDO 4

Was at the Donegal final there. Didn't know Cathal Corey was over Glenties, he's a Kildress man isn't he? He's done well with them. Has he ever managed any Tyrone clubs?

He Has at least one other mid-Tyrone man in the backroom staff who I was rather surprised to see.

They won it very handy. Very physically strong team with some great forwards, Brick Molloy, Leo McLoone, Leon Thompson and Dara Gallagher. They'll fancy themselves against Kingscourt, not sure if they'll go much further.

There doesn't be much money left from half time draws by the time they spend it on frivolous appeals
