Greencastle 0-10
Donaghmore 0-10

Referee : Eugene Hughes

Another day out ? When is the replay ? Had it been played in Omagh or Carrickmore, we could have got a result tonight.

Thought you were from Ardboe Orangeman?

Yep, but making the point that evening football is finished. You'd need to start at 6 o'clock to incorporate extra time situation.

I notice that a round of the senior championship has been pencilled in for Friday evening 11th September which surely will have to be looked at. Could we not have 2 double headers on the Saturday and the Sunday ?
The senior cship will be played under floodlights on Fri 11th

Farcical finish to the Greencastle/Donaghmore game with the ball being moved 35 yards for dissent-resulting in a tap over for Donaghmore.

I have just heard through the grapevine that Strabane Sigersons have 4 players down with the swine flu contracted from a weekend spent in Liverpool. From what i have been told the doctor is to checkout the rest of their players to determine the rate it's spreading at, be a very good chance the county board will not risk Moortown team by making them fulfill this weekends fixture. With upcoming championship i am sure this will suit Moortown. Keep your diseases in North Tyrone boys

No such luck for Moortown  ;), the Reserves and Seniors are going ahead at 11:30 am, and 1.00 pm, respectively, on Sunday.

What about Brendan Boggs?  Is he not worth a go? Was Marc Cunningham not playing in London recently.

Brendan has been tried before. He has had a couple of bad injuries over the years. Think there is better players out there who could be given a chance.

Couldnt agree more- likes of Nial Mc Kenna, Ronan Mc Nabb, Peter Harte and Matthew Donnelly should be brought into the fold now-these players are the future of Tyrone football

Agree with all them and Kyle Coney as well. Should all be put on a good weights programme from now to build them up. May not be ready for next year (although 1 or 2 may be) but are definately the future. We need a good strong defender. What age is Brady from Clonoe? Would he be worth a go?

Think Harte should get Cathal McCarron back into the squad and give him a go at full back which could free Justy McMahon to move out the pitch. We need a tall athletic midfielder to cope with the likes of Cork. In the squad the only possible tall midfielders are Justy,Colm Cavanagh or Cassidy. Can't think of anyone in club football that would provide an alternative.

Attitude of those you mentioned seriously questionable-would need to much more disciplined off the field if they are to make an impact at inter county level.

How is coney getting on with the comeback? Has he given up on oz completely? Given the impact oshea made with mayo you would think coney is in mh plans for 2010

By his demeanour at the back of the Hoganstand on Sunday I'd say Australia is far from his mind.

Back after a shoulder operation and is a massive talent. I'd say that few of these minors would be able to fit into the Tyrone team for 2010 as smoothly and as seamlessly as O'Se did for Mayo. Realistically there will not be many places up for grabs next year on the Tyrone team. Next year's Tyrone team, I'd guess won't be that much different. You don't throw the baby out with the bath water after one defeat.
