Good luck to all teams involved in championship action and safe travelling to all. We have a lot of respect for trillick, great footballing side who can mix it when required. May the best team win!!!

Ardboe actually have 3 minors who are regular starters on the senior team - Kyle, Gavin and Ciaran Coney.  Shea McGuigan is on the panel.

Did Ciaran Coney make the Tyrone minor panel OM

No he didn't make it.

I see in today's Gaelic Life that young Coney is one to watch in Magherafelt's McCrory Cup panel this year.

He is a very good defender and a great lad as well.

One of the best and most consistent referees in Tyrone. Takes no shit and players know where they stand with him.

pretty aggressive first post there littleoak.

It would be fair to say that Sludden wouldn't be lacking in self confidence
canavan is the man canavan is the man ee aye adi ooh.......

Radioulster

Re Sludden he is rather on the arrogant side and is also technically a poor referee. Anybody who has played in one of his games knows this to be true. Watch his time added on!!!!

bigfrank

Sludden is a knob, club players in tyrone hate him!! A good referee should go un-noticed during a game,he makes the game all about him!!!

ONeill

He's a Dromore man. He's not to be trusted.
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

sam03/05

some of the things that Sludden has said on the pitch to players is shocking.
is it any wonder that the players have no respect for him

clarshack

yet to hear a player say anything positive about the man.

orangeman

Lads, I think he's a top class ref - we all have faults, but you don't get onto the inter county panel by starting off as a poor referee - he's very good ref who is regularly sent to ref the biggest games in Tyrone.

He's on the inter county panel and is often seen around the biggest venues in Ireland.

Ok, we mighn't like all the refs but I'd pick out Martin Sludden as one of the better refs in Tyrone - he's not biased, that's for sure.

see the minor final is fixed according tyronegaa site:
Teamtalk MFC Grade 1 Final – Sunday 26th October 2008@ 2pm
Ardboe v Omagh (In Healy Park, Omagh)

If you make it past Dromore on Sunday will Kyle Coney make a double appearance on County final day??  ;) i hope so. or will you seek a postponement? Do recall a Dromore player (cant mind name) playing in both a few years back?

Any other players done both?

Frank McGuigan did both on Ulster final day in 1973 I think, maybe 72.
