On my travels I stumbled across the ladies semi final between the 2 super club's of tyrone, maccartans ™️  and errigal sports group ©️.

Maccartans is a weird setup. Fully grown men from augher, clogher and eskra dressed head to toe in another club's gear to cosplay as maccartans clubmen is cringey stuff.  (Im not even going to get into that sham that call themselves 'errigal ciaran'.)

If they showed as much passion for their actual club's they might not all be sitting in the doldrums, because I doubt a combination of their respective mens teams would be playing division 1 football.

How are genuine clubs meant to compete with these super teams made up of several clubs/parishes?

Some draw for Niamh and eoghan, the double is well and truly on here, although Pomeroy still strong favourites, but cookstown will give them their full of it.

Cookstown haven't a hope against pomeroy 10 points +

That is correct and could be said about the other 40+ clubs in Tyrone. It's just an opinion. What is yours?

Also I wouldn't be surprised to see Rock turn Naomh Eoghan over. They are in good form.

Rock pomeroy final would be good craic... they be boxing in slate quarry before and after

Rock certainly don't have a hope, they've got the easiest run to the semi having faced no one of note, only chance is if they use their dark arts tactics against mayse, would surprise me in the slightest

But can something be done about their supporters constantly kicking balls onto the pitch from behind the goals.
Did anyone else think it was a bit much the level of boo-ing the Lough support was giving Dungannon coming in at half time?, I am envious of the numbers and passion that the Lough support bring to their games, but I thought that was a bit  over the top. However I understand its a huge boost if you were wearing black and yellow.

That was almost the nail in the coffin for the clarkes, a poor first half, handbags resulting in a black card and then getting booed down the tunnel.

Yes and they also booed Hurson going down the tunnel as well. Also, the carry on with kicking balls onto the pitch and soccer style chanting from their supporters makes them very hard to like. Other clubs don't behave like that.

Still have a junior club mentality. They will be back there soon enough !

🤣🤣🤣🤣

How much you willing to bet on that Einstein? Most outrageous take I think I've seen on this lmao

Get used to us clown x

Bit of a farce in the intermediate semi final draw. Had to be redone halfway through as there wasn't 4 balls in the bag!
The Rock had drawn parish rivals Cookstown but ended up with Naomh Eoghan second time around.

Is there a lack of buzz about the championship this year compared to previous seasons or is that just me feeling that?

UtilityMan

Castlederg through to a semi final, they'll be massive underdogs against the Harps but its a one-off you never know but think they'll just fall short. Stewartstown by 2

Tattyreagh done enough to get through Brocagh who fought well, wouldn't have wanted Fintona next but you have to play them eventually. Fintona by 8

Naomh Eoghan got the job done against Aghyaran, seen them a handful of times this year, they just have a way of seeing things out and getting scores at the right time as they did with their goal. Aghyaran hit monster 2s which kept them in it but ran out of steam in 2nd half. NE eventually got drawn against Rock after a complete mess by the CCC, Rock defence will struggle with the NE forward line. NE by 3

The Plunkets as expected brushed aside Derrylaughlan who have scathy form all year and a 20% fit Kennedy. Burns looked very good second half as they seen it out. Derrylaughlan will be in D2 for the forseeable. Tie of the round, youth v experience. Predicting a draw first day out with Plunkets taking the replay by 3.
