Ireland has been historically dominated by two fairly centrist parties. The Dems would not be too out of line with mainstream Irish politics. Outside of the DUP, is there anything even remotely comparable to the current Republican Party on the island of Ireland?

It's natural for people to want details of the person and their politics, if any, as it could relate to potential motive.

Not sure how it will affect his arrest and potential prosecution though, beyond the likes of Greene trying to set him up as a noble patriot with the best interests of the country at heart.
