Would be good to hear the Trump supporter views on the latest from the great man and his campaign.

The misuse of the Fauci quote would be embarrassing to any other man/campaign. These guys are determined to style it out.

Trump's claim that he is immune to Covid now proves the man hasn't the slightest understanding of what it is that he is supposed to be managing. And he has had the virus.

Paying people to attend your rally looks bad. Should there even be rallies during a pandemic?

At this point, what are they going to say? What can they say? I guess, in their deluded, misinformed, paranoid views, he's better than the commie libtards and "experts" who are going to turn their kids gay, take their guns away and ban christianity and the speaking of English.

Even his campaign are basically throwing in the towel.

All they've got left are Hillary's emails and supposedly, any day now I tell ya, appalling and devastating revelations that her campaign pushed the Trump's campaign's Russian connections to deflect from her own troubles.

We haven't had Hunter Biden since the debate. Maybe he'll be lofted back at the wall again too.

Most presidents seeking re-election run on their record. Trump hasn't got anything useful or non-detrimental with respect to re-election in his. So its false victimhood, misrepresentation and conspiracy theories.

Most times and places, at least in recent history, that would be that. Given the state of the US right wing, unfortunately, as well as the electoral college system, he could still win.

Remember "Obamagate?" The big, vague, nebulous, non-accusation that Obama did "something" awful but they forgot to say what it was he was supposed to have done? There'll probably be a "Bidengate" where Biden supposedly did something something Ukraine something something scandal.

I know that Trump fans are keen to have fact based examinations of track record and I know that his friends on this thread are keen to have a full and frank but well mannered debate so I would have thought they felt duty bound to front up with something.

On Covid it's clear that Trump is clueless. He has no concept of the enormity of the issue. So I would expect his friends to explain how that is not the case or explain that it's either good or at least unimportant that POTUS doesn't understand this issue.

I think he is fully aware of how serious it is, or at least he was in the beginning when he admitted as much to Woodward.

Unfortunately for everyone he sees it as something that happened TO him and his presidency, something that has victimized him, not something that happens which he, in his position, is supposed to manage the country through. Unfortunately for everyone AND him, he couldn't wish it away and use bullshit and distraction to take it out of the news. That might work with the succession of scandals that, at this point, are enough to have ended multiple political careers, but a highly contagious and serious disease is going to keep coming and coming.

I know its hard to judge with Trump, but he was on a whole new level of unhinged last week. Given that he was confirmed to be on a cocktail of drugs, including steroids know to cause mania, it was perfectly valid to question his fitness for the job, especially with the utter disregard he showed for his staff, both admin and non-admin, in the WH. His sycophantic doctors are not exactly reassuring either. A lone verbal gaffe by Pelosi is irrelevant.

Trump's behaviour is what prompted it.

Just because commission doesn't currently exist and Trump then tried to turn it around onto Biden doesn't change that.

Of course he was and is, Republicans are fully aware of the seriousness of Covid, fully aware of the seriousness of the climate crisis, fully aware that Trump is hopelessly compromised by Russia, fully aware that Republican ideology in every area is disastrous for ordinary people, fully aware that the Trump regime is a shameless, fascist lying machine

They just don't give a f**k about any of these things because they're rapacious kleptocrats who want to drive ordinary people into the dirt

Have you some evidence about Biden's insanity?

As for the Pelosi/Harris stuff could you not have worked Hillary in there somewhere. If you really want to get the Trump supporters going you really need to have that Hillary angle

Yes it is. His mental capacity is very much in doubt and he is seeking re-election.

Do you think he will do even one interview with a properly independent journalist where he has to answer detailed questions and demonstrate his understanding of complex issues of state?

what about Biden? he can't even take a question after he appears somewhere , the fact that very few news organizations are asking about joes obvious mental problems just show that they are not objective and just mouthpieces for the Democrat party .
