stew, that is all refelective of what is happenong world wide, if you somehow think that the States works in a world wide vacuum then that is fine but it is simply suffering just the same as nearly every country in the world.

So BO should be given a pass for the nightmare of his Presidency because " it is suffering just the same as nearly country in the world"

I don't think so, he failed on almost every promise he made and he is a charlatan in my opinion!

The American economy used to shape the economy of the rest of the world, not every country is suffering right now, that is why I am speaking specifically about America.

I am talking about the US economy, this man has added 6 trillion in new debt, unemployment is 7.9%, 46 million people are on food stamps, a far higher number than when he took office, he made promises on all of these issues and in every instance he failed.

The budget deficit in Bush's last budget was about 1.2 trillion and had risen rapidly. For FY 2013 the deficit is about 0.9 trillion and falling.

Here clone, BO added 6 trillion to the deficit and he cost the country jobs, unemployment is higher now that it was when he took office!

When Obama took office unemployment was 7.8% and rising rapidly, it ended up at 10%. It is now 7.9% and falling.

Fecking lies, it is a tenth of a % higher!

The major increase in food stamps is mostly due to the expansion of the program from the 2008 Farm Bill which Bush signed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Food,_Conservation,_and_Energy_Act_of_2008
the biggest contributor to the growth of the deficit since 09 has been the bush tax cuts but you won't hear that on fox.

You quote wiki to make your argument on this????

Socialism destroys an economy and this lad is going to go completely feck this country for decades to come, America needs change and it needs it right now, he failed no matter what way you clones cut it!

I think we still see Obama there in the morning, couldn't do much with America economy, dont think anyone could. I wonder do Americans remember that Clinton left America in very good economic terms, hand over to republicans, fire in an odd war or two, and the economy went down the pan. Its abit like over here, Enda gets it in the neck but the reality is no matter who is in power we fucked, as we have over extended ourselves past 10yrs and now the Huns have us by the balls!!

Socialism destroys an economy

No, it doesn't. The developed countries that have best weathered the economic storms of recent times are those with high levels of government spending. What America needs is more socialism, not the robber baron capitalism typified by Bain Capital.

It's not over yet but it is looking really difficult for Romney to win.

I'm going to stick my neck out and call it as an Obama victory after 2 hours of polling

Easy money. 5-1 in a two horse race. Be interesting to see just how much the republican congress blocks the president and the senate. Or whether we're in for four more years of the same shit and another he said she said finger pointing session.
Or maybe for once they can get their act together and bang out some compromise policy.
Never underestimate the predictability of stupidity

I hope Mr Obama grabs the opportunity America has given him and leads the country with excellence and greatness.

I hope the Republicans have the integrity to work with the president, not against him and that compromise can be reached and solutions found to fix the ills that pervade the American economy.

Good luck president Obama, I wish you well and hope that you can reach your stated objectives, this is the greatest of countries and I hope you achieve all of your stated goals and all you aspire to achieve for the US of A.
