I genuinely don't think he will "bring the bus" for a couple of reasons
1. Its a tiresome style of football that takes allot of players both mentally & physically. To successfully perform that way 3 times in 8 days is a massive ask. Getting enough players behind the ball, pressing the opposition, maintaining 100% concentration for the full 90minutes would not be good preparation for next Wednesday nights CL semi final.
2. A draw is meaningless for Chelsea. To have any slight chance of regaining the league they will need to win this one.

Obviously Mourinho's style is a cautious one. They will still be well organised at the back, with 2 holding midfielders sitting in front of the back 4. He will send his side out to frustrate Liverpool initially, take the sting out of the kop. But as the game progresses I expect to see the likes of Lampard, Willian, Ba, Salah et al push on for Goals.

Liverpool echo reporting that Daniel Sturridge is winning his race to be fit. That's massive for Liverpool.

I wouldnt be so sure, i think mourinho will park the bus for most of the game and hope to nick a winner towards the end.

If Liverpool were to beat chelsea at the weekend & city were beat by palace, would i be right and thinking that they would won the league?
I could be wrong but I think if Liverpool beat Chelsea on Sunday and City don't win in their next two games ie only draw both v Palace away and v Everton away then Liverpool will have won the league before they even play again v Palace on monday week.
Or if Pool beat Chelsea and City only get 4 points from next two games then a win v Palace will secure the title for Liverpool.
I don't want to even think about what happens if Liverpool don't beat Chelsea!
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Yea, seen that myself - didn't think Giggs done himself any favours  ;) ;) ;)

Bingo

This game seems to have taken an age to come round.

Can't say I'm looking forward to it and the closer it comes the harder I think it will be to get the 3 points. Jose will not want to lose and I reckon he will come to pack the defence and try hit Liverpool on the break. Like they effectively did to city. In the media he will play Chelsea down but he'll be building them up to his squad and no matter who he plays, he'll have a capable team out.

Hope Sturridge is back, even if for 60 mins, as they are a more fluent team with him in rather than Allen and Lucas having to play.

Dreading it, massive game!

Liverpool can do no wrong at the moment. They keep blowing teams away in the first half-an-hour at home and, if they do that to Chelsea, I do not see the Blues coming back.
Because of that, I would be bullish about this fixture if I were in the Liverpool camp. I think they will beat Chelsea and I honestly believe they will win the title at Crystal Palace in their next game.

give her dixie

Really looking forward to this game. I am heading across on the ferry tonight from Dublin and will be in Liverpool early tomorrow. I have no ticket, but want to soak up the atmosphere around the grounds. Any good pubs nearby that anyone can recommend?
next stop, September 10, for number 4......

A lot of wishful thinking re City dropping points. Don't see it myself

It depends what you mean by 'good' !
The Sandon is a real Liverpool pub beside Anfeild and should be packed and great atmosphere, but like a lot of the pubs around there, its a bit of a dive.
Somewhere like the Walkabout in the city is good for watching football
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

Everton losing today probably makes it an easier game for City against them next week as you would think that was Everton out of the race for Top 4.

I'd second the Sandon. I wouldn't call it a dive at all. Other pubs have their, um, charm but they're for masochists only. The Supporters Club down Breck Road is good too but a bit far from the ground to be properly part of the pre-match hoopla.

make sure they will not use Catapiller machinery on the stadium work or you will have to stop supporting that English team.,would also check that they will pay at least the minimum wage on site as very found of using cheap labour over there and a big socialist like you couldn't support that.
