liverpool have to play Chelsea, so if liverpool won they would go ahead of chelsea. In theory Liverpool could win their next nine games and Man City could still pip them to the title if they won their games in hand.

They won't win all 9 so that is not relevant. Still Chelseas to lose in my view. City have too many tough away games,  United Arsenal and Liverpool away.

Why?

Because they won't. Maureen will set up a wall of 9 men and a goalie at Anfield to churn out a 0-0 draw.

ONeill

That's a cowardly way to think.

When Arsenal made their Wenger breakthrough in 1998 they won 10 in a row towards the end, including a win at Old Trafford. And I remember believing they could.

Liverpool fans need to ditch the loser complex and embrace this winning mentality Brendan has developed. Not arrogance but confident.

You are right,  not cowardly though just very cautious.  But it makes no odds whether I believe or not, so long as the players do which I think they do.

I'm looking forward to MOTD  :D

Exciting few weeks ahead, and great to be in with a shout for the title.  The team have seemed to get stronger the past few weeks and a lot more assured.  They mightn't win it but they've got the attitude and the firepower to give it a really good rattle.  The defence looks a lot more composed too, with Agger and Flanaghan in there.  Never looked troubled today.

That's just, like your opinion man.

ONeill

Fair enough.

All those away games are very winnable.

Anfield is a fortress.

Liverpool could have played a back four of Gary Doherty's today and still won.

Whatever about some of your predictions,  they'll bate Newcastle out through Shankly Gates!

On the last match of the season with potentially the big yin on the line for the first time in over 20 years?! Doubtful.

Andy Carroll will come back to haunt us at Upton Park.

Man Utd finished 28 points ahead of Liverpool last season and Liverpool are now 14 points ahead. A 42 point turnaround in less than a year.
That was never a square ball!!
