Borini fractures his foot on international duty and is out for a while by looks of it.

That leaves Suarez as main striker, sorry only striker and Adam Morgan on duty for Europa cup and league cup games.

Edit: Forgot about Yesil....the season could be saved yet  ;)

That Suarez dive is almost identical to a Wayne Rooney one from a couple of years ago. Think it might have been against Blackburn.

Can Carroll be recalled in January?

Enjoyable Friday afternoon reading, but I'd treat it with skepticism.

Yeah, would agree with the skepticism, can't see how the communications director of a large organisation would meet up with a Joe like that but ye never know.

Bingo

I was disappointed that he didn't name himself! It will probably come down the line though.

It wouldn't surprise me if it was true, its that mental!

But I can't help picturing Jen Chang been like the Ken Jeong character in the Hangover in the whole incident  ;D

Read on another forum that Ronnie Whelan was the first Irish Catholic to be signed by Liverpool FC ? Surely this couldn't be right ??

Sure is
''During the 1950s and 1960s Everton were coined as the Catholic club mainly as a result of successful Irish players Tommy Eglington, Peter Farrell and Jimmy O'Neill as well as manager Johnny Carey. This in turn caused Liverpool to be thought of as Protestant club, not signing an Irish Catholic until Ronnie Whelan in 1979.''

Key point is Irish Catholic
Liverpool had bundles and bundles of catholics playing with them long before Whelan arrived, lots of them 2nd/3rd generation Irish. They just didnt have many Irish playing with them. Heighway mustn't have been Catholic if the stat is true.

Is it true though? I doubt it to be honest.

Its true alright, bizarrely.

There's a blog by Jim Boardman of the Anfield Wrap out there somewhere which gives Chang's side to it (while trying not to be obviously on Chang's side).

Its seemingly not denied that Chang met him and threatened to withdraw his season ticket. But any threats to family has been denied.

The internet dude had the correct team line-ups every week and some correct transfer rumours that led Chang to believe he is being fed information by a club mole. So Chang met with him to try and find out who the mole was, and issued (I'm sure empty) threats to make him talk.

The internet dude is saying all his transfer rumours were lucky guesses or robbed from elsewhere and that he got his team line-ups from a small lesser forum. But he hasn't named the forum, so it is likely that he did have someone at the club giving him insider info.

All very bizarre
