What did people think of the penalty award? Great work by Suarez in the build-up, but there look to be much contact. He should at least have dropped his foot in like the rest of them do when they're buying their penalties (a practice which has been defended by certain posters here when it comes to their own team, before the usual suspects start with their feigned outrage!)

If we had RVP we'd probably be challenging for the title.
Supply line is poor if RVP was playing for Liverpool his scoring ratio would be around the same as Suarez.

No it wouldn't. As good a player as Suarez is he's not the most clinical finisher. RVP definitely is.

His scoring ratio with Uruguay,Ajax would say different.

Complete and utter mugging but you kinda sensed something like that was coming. Should have been out of sight ages ago. If we had RVP we'd probably be challenging for the title.

Agger badly missed. Carra needs to retire. He's like a statue at the back now.
Kenny doesnt have to pick Carra so blame doesnt solely rest with the player.

Well I'll trust my own eyes and he's missed a lot of chances this season. Now maybe next season he will start putting them away more regularly but his finishing has not matched the rest of his general play this year. Which has been fantastic at times.

Lol @ RVP and  Liverpool title challenge post.
If you think your squad problems stop at a finisher you're  deluded.

Tough loss yesterday, totally dominated play and actually played some great one touch football.  Should have been at least 3 in front at half time.  Carra is finished and was clearly at fault for goals.  Himself and Charlie Adam were horrible.  Was impressed with Henderson yesterday, plays a lot better when he came in central were he is at his best IMO.
Hopefully with fourth out the window the pressure will be off Kenny some what and he can try the younger lads now.  Coates should start, which if it had of happened yesterday Skertl could have remained in his best position as the right centre back.  Sterling hopefully can see some time between now and the end of the year although Downing is improving with every game.

It is, without doubt, the most obvious problem at the club. It's plainly obvious that a finisher would make a massive difference. This should be easy for people to see, even you.

Not sure if it's true but they said on Sky that RVP's goals have been worth 20 points to Arsenal.  That would take L'pool 7 points behind City with a game in hand. A top quality finisher would make a huge difference.

Chesney's saves have been worth 18 points and even though Sagna has only played a couple of games he has been worth 7 points. So if you had the 3 of them you would have 45 more points which would put you 18 points clear with a game in hand. Makes you think doesn't it?

How much was spent on Henderson,Downing in the hope they would supply the strikers? would any of them be able to pass the ball like Song did on the winner yesterday? he also did the same in the Everton game.

Really disappointed with adam, Carroll and downing, Kenny dalglish and Commolli must be under pressure. I could see dalglish being moved upstairs this summer .
Would take rafa and the lady boy back with Carroll back to Newcastle .

If only they would all come out of that closet.
