Would love to be able to say it but after the antics and stories I heard last night in Gerry's there will be no oneill cup coming to carmen

It really is sad the small club mentality carmen have nowadays. I would be ashamed to celebrate a hurling championship

You have to give credit where credit is due, fair play to the 4 teams that take part in the hurling champion ships, shows the work being done with the youth teams in each of the clubs in every stage of development through to Seniors, but right enough there's a lack of small ball players west of the A5, heard a few men saying recently, that there just not built for it. But what are they built for??? Junior football?

True. Really is last chance saloon for Carmen this year as the youth coming through is not great we will struggle to hold status in division 1 in 5-10 years. And these men are going and drinking after a hurling win

Then you don't get that rivalry. They dug out that win on Sunday and last year. Entitled to celebrate it.

Carrickmore have the stones for it this weekend.

Sometimes in games like this its all you need some heavy 'been here before' stones.

Does drinking a week before a game effect you that much? Doubt it.
I have always depended on the kindness of strangers. All Ireland Club - 2030.

Same stones that beat Edendork who on paper appeared to have the better players. Aul dogs for the hard road.
Unlikely will beat Errigal or Trillick who are probly higher level than all the other teams.

Disgrace that the Drumragh Cookstown game is in Stewartstown tonight. Someone in the county board must have Cookstown well backed for Ulster.

Unfair on the Sarsfields, but I can see where the county board is coming from too. Harps have a great pitch there with great lighting too. Perfect for a fiesty affair on a Tuesdy evening!

I agree with the money spent in Stewartstown this past few years it's a wonder they haven't got more championship games. However it is harsh on drumragh 45 mins drive for them and only a 10 min drive for cookstown. Not fair on a Tuesday evening with some men having to leave work early to make it
