Nope.

Here you are, on a digital format

Well it's not in place yet but don't worry wont be about here much longer anyway. The board is a cesspit.

But here you are, again  ;D

Bookmarking this for when you inevitably don't leave the board.

When did you  last embrace anything dreamt up by  the British government?

Perhaps you'd like to  embrace their legacy act  while you're at  it?

Sweet Mother of God. You were born, someone within 2 weeks registered your birth, you were then registered on a database for Health Care, you got a national insurance number where you were 16 and placed on another database, you passed exams and were put on another database, got a driving licence onto another database, started paying tax more information for the government, a passport there you go again, the list goes on, the premise however misguided you believe it to be is to cut down on folk working when they aren't entitled to. Explain how it will impact you having an extra piece of ID?

You support a British team, you speak and write in English, you live unfortunately for us, in a uk state and get paid in Sterling. You've embraced that ok, You also have already a fully fledged digital footprint whether you like it or not

You are not going to fix the ills or problems of today, you have one vote, that's your lot.

You also have one life with a family that are, or should be more important that the shit going around, that you have literally no control of, so embrace the small time we have on this planet, it's ok to have a moan about life and the injustices, but unless you're a billionaire or a world leader you don't count other than that one vote you have.

What is the downside?

Planitir will win the contract to provide it and we'll be tracked even further than we already are.

Big brother of the digital world.

Munchie

Tracked even further!! What even further than if you are on social media, accepting cookies for every website you visit,  what will they be tracking?

Armagh18

The framing of it as a "Britcard" won't help sell the idea to Scottish or Irish Nationalists, or Welsh if there is any..

Most of the North get their salaries from the British government including all these top republicans up on the hill, they seem to be ok with it.

Doubt that'll be a vote winner with the Brexit brigade, basically an open goal for Farage. Looking worryingly like a Reform government the next time

Maybe you should ask  the Chinese  how their social credit system impacts them. That's clearly  where this is heading.

If I start  a job , I'll bring in my NI Card,  take a flight I'll show a passport. If I want  to vote, I use  a  drivers license/passport.  That entities me to work legally ,  fly  to another country and vote . That's enough. Why would I need  an ID card in my pocket everywhere I go, when  I can live without  showing this sort of ID  , bar 2 or 3 times a year?

NI numbers have been  around for decades , yet there's  still people working illegally. So  having a brit card  won't stop that.

PS. You still didn't. answer my question

Your NI card does not have your photo on it. This is the issue. Using another person's national insurance number is a common thing in the illegal workers world apparently.
