I am aware of who was in charge, however their playing staff is not the same nor does it seem their cohesion

Take the tinfoil off pal

btw, McGrath was in charge in 2023, injury time winner for Cargin.

Quote from: Take the Mark on September 11, 2025, 08:24:47 PMPoint being the ridiculous prediction on the Cargin game from a man bizarrely claiming to be from Cargin when hes not.

He knows what hes trying to do, and so do I.

Why is that a ridiculous prediction? Aghagallon finished 13th in the league and were beat by Ahoghill in the group stage.

Ballymena finished 4th in that same league and are in a relegation playoff.

Aghagallon reached 2 of the last 4 SFC finals (were 9 up in 1 of those, lost AET) and lost by a point to Cargin in 2023's quarter final. That enough evidence?

Look at championship then. Beat by Ahoghill. Hammered by St Brigids and beat a poor St Pauls side. One win out of 3. Scraped through in the weakest group out of them all

YoungSaff

Cargin win comfortably by 14 tonight is my prediction , run the bench last 15

No chance. Sure you and the majority had Dunloy to beat Cargin the last day, Cargin are finished (around here) it seems.

Siege mentality  ;D

It'll be a big surprise (to me anyway) if you don't win the championship again.

I did in fairness! Seen a different animal in Cargin that day , winners this year again imo now

Round or stuffed

Intermediate Predictions

Naomh Padraig v Sarsfields - Sarsfields just about

Naomh Comghall v Glenavy - Comghalls to beat a glenavy who will likely rest men

Rasharkin V Moneyglass - Moneyglass by 7

Gort na Mona V Davits - point in it either way, loser relegated

NorthAntrimSaff

Lisburn out and Sarsfields with all to play for. Sarsfields wont be beat
Moneyglass will hammer Rasharkin
If Antrim beat Glenavy, they finish level pts with St Ts. Head to head is a draw with T's points difference +14

No they aren't.  They will win the county title again and bow out first round of Ulster

Did you see any of the Errigal game last night? Tore Ardboe apart, that's Errigal who Cargin came up against in Ulster last year and got the back ripped out them on here for losing the game. The standard of the ulster club gets higher every year so whoever comes out of Antrim will be very much up against it. That's just the way it is until it's not.

So,, you both agree with each other then?

Yes I did.  I'm going by the fact that the Cargin game last year was Errigals easiest victory of the whole tyrone, ulster and all Ireland series. Anyway,  as expected, Cargin up by a cricket score at half time against Aghagallon.

A procession to another county title.  Mounting an ulster challenge should really be their biggest motivation at this stage tbh.

To me this was probably the best vs the worst of the 8 quarter finalists. Cargin were always expected to win this handy but Aghagallon haven't laid a glove on them. Kick outs dreadful especially.
