That's a real concern, everything in the garden is rosy, but especially with the new rules, you need plenty of big trees and I don't see too many coming through

Conor O'Neill has been excellent all year and still underage next year. Can see him making an impact at 10 or 12 in the coming years but the point on a more general lack of height is well made. It'll be interesting to see if the rule changes bring any new players to the fore in club football over the next year.

Oneill the obvious one and 10 or 12 will suit him as got a work rate and can kick a score. Orouke giving donaghy Oguz and Daly runs in half forward line but they had poor outing v Armagh. Will be interesting how many start next day out or will they go with trying to win the breaking ball

U20s a world away from senior but hard to argue with record of Dook.

A very smart man maintains to me the real reason for Tyrone's success at u20 level is the number of the lads playing senior club football.

Only five clubs represented outside of the Senior clubs - Eglish, Fintona, Beragh, Cookstown and Glenelly.
Only three Senior clubs not represented on the panel - Carrickmore, Pomeroy and Trillick.

They have Conor Holmes on the squad and he came on against Derry or Donegal. But Eglish decided to play on anyway - fair play to them

Fair fucks to them. Probably have squad depth and enough strength for division 2. It would be unfair to maybe ask smaller clubs who are heavily reliant on their u20s. However, it should never have gotten to this. Something has to give for the sake of club football.

tbh I don't see many making the step up bar the 2 quality fwds that we know off, they were the difference in the end..Kerry dominated alot of the game but couldn't turn possession into scores...

Would we not also be seriously looking at Ben Hughes, Joey Clarke, Callum Daly, Caolan Donnelly and Conor O'Neill on top of McElholm and McCullagh. Maybe not as Senior starting players in 2025 or 2026 but a year or two on the development squad before breaking into the side. We have a Senior team there at the minute that has Hamspey, Meyler, Brennan, McGeary, Burns, Bradley, McCurry, Mattie and Peter Harte now all the wrong side of 30. They can't go on forever.
