How would Dungannon be an better option. Plunkett park is fully terraced with a covered stand, state of the art changing rooms and the surfaces in great condition since Dimac took over maintenance over a year ago. There's severe wind and rain forecast for the whole of the country not just Pomeroy.

You maybe correct about all you say about Pomeroy but never any atmosphere there. Never!

Always a game of 2 halves with the howling gale.

O'Neill park has the best atmosphere in Tyrone, bar none.

I think you've problems closer to home to sort out #bullcharge
The majority of supporters going to Healy park be for the men's game not sure the reason for keeping the women's game on there but moving a game which will attract a bigger crowd to Pomeroy?

So your judging a venues capability of hosting a game based on atmosphere. Tyrone may never play in Healy park again if that's the case. A big crowd in any small venue will create an atmosphere.

Has anyone else heard that the game was moved from Omagh due to a fall out between Martin Sludden and Conor Sally?

Hadn't heard anything around a fall out but from Omagh's Facebook post on Saturday they didn't seem best pleased the game was being moved to Pomeroy.

Turns out the ladies game that had been kept in Omagh has now been moved as well after Healy Park failed a pitch inspection.

Did Pomeroy's field used to be in the town?

It's still in the town unless you move it down the street. I always rem it being there and that's a long time!

OakLeaf

I played there in schools matches in the 80s and I seem to remember there being a big wall, which had the main street on the other side. Maybe I'm thinking of somewhere else? Long time ago.
