Not beating Fermanagh and the collapse with 2 red cards makes the season a bit flat, still need wins to stay up before booking hotels

Laois and Sligo big games. Kildare look far better than anything.

Good to see Johnston back getting some game time as I think he could be a big player for us. Also probably no bad thing to see players like linehan and more of Quinn.

I suspect Leitrim will be two points for everyone but you can only beat what is in front of you.

Sligo at home the one that needs to be secured, Laois away probably too big an ask.

Good to see Niall burns cutting loose as well.

Quote from: Delgany 2nds on February 21, 2025, 06:12:10 PMThe County Executive have decided to move Monday nights county meeting to an online forum rather than face to face to discuss league formats and parachuting Dunloy into Div 1 .What a cop out!

Have already discussed this when you were championing St Teresa's case last autumn - Dunloy have not been parachuted in - leagues are to mirror championship and Dunloy avoided relegation from senior championship - and nothing in regulations to promote anyone else anyway - not saying regulations were ideal or well written but if you had issue you should have addressed it when the draft league and championship regulations were circulated last year - rather than trying to rewrite them now on an online forum 😂

'In the event that a team playing in Div 2 reaches the semi-final of the SFC and is seeded for the following year's SFC, then both teams in the SFC relegation final shall be relegated to Div 2 and the IFC, unless that club opts to play in Division 2 and the IFC.'
This was published on 6/9/24 by county( after league had finished btw). It is clearly directed at Dunloy. As Dunloy didn't reach semi final, they are not seeded in 2025. It clearly states elsewhere by county that league and championships would align in 2025 and be reviewed at end of 2025.

So just looking transparency.

Tbh, the whole thing is so poorly written! Way too many ...what ifs !

Can't remember a 14 win

You beat Leitrim.

They're a joke at the minute and managed by Steven Poacher, the biggest grifter on the coaching/managerial circuit.

You'll not win another game this year by anywhere near the same margin.

Yep, and why should we? The bookies had it a 13 point win it was a 14  point win. We did what was expected.

Not sure what your point is, I just pointed out I can't remember Antrim winning by that margin

The other part about Leitrim is probably true, and?

We beat one of the worst teams in the country yesterday. We were expected to best them.

Beating the worst team in Ireland is not really worth making a positive or negative comment on

We are a division above the worst in the country, so don't lie..

We beat them better than predicted, by smarter people than us..

It gets a bit embarrassing when one club set of posters throw up the same rhetoric, and still don't see it

We beat a team who are probably the worst in Ireland atm and got pummelled last week by a team who lost to Fermanagh this week. Antrim football not doing well isn't an isolated incident either.

Again, it's easy enough to work out. We are div 3 and I know it's hard to believe but the division below us is worse again, I know! Crazy thought

I'm mostly surprised there hasnt been mass calls for McGeeney to go after the black card cost Armagh the game, clearly the managers fault.

Sportacus

A wins a win.  Not sure what anyone expects considering our underage teams, with the odd exception, have been getting annihilated. There's very little pipeline, mostly just a bunch of decent club players.
