Unless Cargin don't want to meet st brigids in the final, maybe think they'll have a better chance in a semi final, wouldn't want to be losing both finals to the posh folk off belfast

Spike

I would say those posh folk you speak of would have better connections with the county hierarchy than the country bumpkins

Maybe Ahoghill didn't fancy meeting PG1 again...

Spike

who would be the favourite to reach a final between Ahoghill / St Johns?

Looks like LLL will have a playoff at least I concede I had outdated info on that, as I can't see St Comghalls getting beat. Also Dunloy 1 win away from relegating 2 from St Galls, St Endas, TNN or Glenravel and getting themselves promoted seems incredible to think about.

Yeah good to see the proper info shared as no matter what understandings are out there it's the regulations that will be followed.

However they look like they have been written by a Ballymena man - everyone has a championship pitfall except them.  They could actually be in next years Div1 and Senior Championship without getting promoted through either league or Championship.

Them and Aldergrove for that matter but at least after last years free ticket Aldergrove secured league and championship status playing at the top grade in each.

Ultimately I think Dunloy's race will be run this weekend.  They won't make it easy for St Brigids (who are probably overrated anyway) but the difference for me will be the fact it's St Brigids sole focus.  So that's them skudded now.

Round or stuffed

the biggest piece overlooked was no relegation playoff in intermediate, Ardoyne already gone so bottom of the other group straight down, if it comes to pass that is davits, they'll feel extremely aggrieved having finished 4th in the league

Be the same winner regardless. You'd fancy st John's to beat ahoghill by a bit.

Same as TNN in Div 1 finishing 4th in the league and potentially get relegated.

The SFC semi finals were not pre determined in the draw stage. However, It was the only championship draw not pre determined !!!! 24th May published

Around the glens

Coupling leagues and championship was always a recipe for disaster. There will be a few clubs not happy when it comes to a conclusion.

thegladiator

The whole thing is a mess, but the majority of clubs signed up for it, probably without thinking "it could happen to us" or reading the thing properly, so we are where we are with it, as unfair as it is. What are the odds on another restructure?!?!

This is a shameful episode from those in the administrative set up. Completely conflicted - very clear from your list from fixture. But the draw circulated on 24th May has no semi final draw listed.

The draw was made at Ramada in full publicity mode, with Facebook live etc.

No idea ....you couldn't make it up ...but someone is trying very hard to !!!

That linked fixture list above was published on the Antrim website on 22 May (it's still there as a news article).
