Quote from: Captain Scarlet on August 14, 2024, 10:17:59 AMHow much will this cost Antrim?! All for a circus and maybe one scalp...

By time you have his back room installed and team running costs you'd be looking at roughly 500/600k for the deal.

I dunno how people take him seriously. He's a dose and people shoudl wise up to his PASSION schtick. The media give him some serious passes too.

How do Monaghan people feel about Banty (and he would bring in RG in some way I'd say)

Just an aside I hear Mickey Harte was a serious contender in Kildare and Aidan O'Rourke helped to sway for the new man in. Just to have an older head involved. Would Mickey be in the mix anywhere else?
them mysterons are always killing me but im grand after a few days.sickenin aul dose all the same.

Meath Co Board meeting tonight I hear, end of the road for Colm?

Fermanagh reappoint their football and hurling managers and Mike Quirke leaving Jack's backroom in  Kerry.
Play the game and play it fairly
Play the game like Dermot Earley.

Captain Scarlet

Meath are still living in an alternative universe where Colm is still playing and Mick Lyons is a hardy hoor...
Chatting to a mate of mine from there and it's very snipey and backward. Not sure who is there to step in.

Harte to Monaghan?

Think MH would be a good fit for Monaghan.

Can he not just sit in the house? or take his club team or volunteer around the club?

What is this incessant need to be involved at this level? Does he love Louth football or Monaghan football that much?

Irish News reporting RG looking highly likely to take up Derry post again. High risk move.

I'd say it's what he loves doing and needs to be busy all the time. Club mightn't keep him busy enough and slowing down can be giving up to some people and end up detrimental.

I can't believe Derry GAA could lower themselves so low as to consider giving a job to that dirty little cnut. Shame on them.

All being choreographed at the minute. A few wee leaks in the press to test the water and if no major kickback from the clubs or sponsors it'll be rubberstamped within weeks.

Do you feel the same about Kingspan sponsoring Cavan?

Mickey's becoming the big Sam of the Gaa.

Derry reappointing Gallagher would be folly.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Do you have a sister or a daughter? I hope they never come home with a fella like Gallagher. If there's a man on the Derry team at all they'll refuse to play for him.
