This should not be tolerated. They'll be shooting up next.

It's probably a symptom of how widespread Cocaine use is in Ireland. They're doing on the street what the great and the good are sneaking off into the toilets to do.

I lived in Belfast during the 90s, it's in worse state now than it was then. The city centre is not a good place to be.

I work in the city centre
Coming down stairs of car park last month at 9am
Saw a young girl say 19/20 shooting  something into her leg with a needle, she looked at me without a care
Belfast has become really bad for drugs.
Tbf the north as a whole is becoming seriously run down .
Was driving  after game from Sligo to Dublin last Sunday to leave cub off in the city and was surprised how  tidy and busy Carrick on Shannon  and Sligo both were,
Then stopped off in Maynooth for tea, place buzzing again tidy and well kept .outdoor pubs flying , called in to 3/4 places for food all busy, guy in Oneills fitted us in.
When I got back to Newry it was like chalk and cheese, then we get a pipe bomb this week.

I think it's a lot worse post covid too. Tbf Dublin has it's moments too. Dunno if it's  big city thing or whether maybe it's  bit worse in the north.

Quote from: square_ball on June 21, 2024, 08:26:43 AMThis English lad thats missing in Tenerife and associated facebook group with wild theories and suggestions about how to find him. By all accounts he's a bit of a wrong'un.

Has been convicted being part of a gang/group of boys with machete, golf clubs who beat someone up.

If the government want to see the state of the UK and lack of education just read how adults are suggesting he could be found or helped:

Could be the same person that took Maddie McCann
The search team should look in shaded areas
He could be stuck to a cactus on the mountain
Call his phone as someone may have taken it and charged it up
Use microphone speakers to call out his name
Let off fireworks at night and use bright torches
Throw bottles of water where he was last seen walking

Absolutely mental

Stuck to a cactus!  ;D

The great british people indeed.

Plenty of shitholes in south too. Armagh has its share of druggies too.

I get that but I felt there seemed to be more civic pride in those rural towns .
Drugs are everywhere that's the reality .

Bring back DAAD they'll sort out the Drugs problem!

Looking at the comments in that tweet and no surprises that some people are complaining that the guy shouldn't have shown those 'poor vulnerable folk'. They would be happy to sweep it under the carpet and people like that are a big part of the problem. That video needs to be shown far and wide.
