Quote from: square_ball on June 14, 2024, 10:24:35 AMMeyler himself did put a video up this week on Instagram saying that a scan he got in March told him he would be out for the season.

It was all very dramatic wasn't it.

The word you were looking for was brave, I think

Nope, I used the word I was looking for

In fairness if Whoop were throwing me a few quid they can make it as dramatic/brave as they want.

I liked the video gives a good insight into Meyler and how dedicated he seems to be looking from the outside anyway.

I had heard he would be doing well to play any part for Omagh this year.
Played nearly full game for Omagh reserves last night

square_ball

The poor reserve having to run after him for an hour.

Good win with so many new players on board and considering form Cork came into the game with.. Morgan immense. Mattie and Darragh too...

square_ball

Decent performance. Coming into a bit of form now. Should get through next weekend then the following week will be the big test.

Easttyrone23

Tyrone starting to hit a bit of form at the right time although I wouldn't get too excited just yet. Is Morgan now Tyrone's most important player?

square_ball

I think between him and Canavan. We would be fcuked if either of them weren't playing.

Very poor from Conn, the game was won. When will he ever learn? He needs to look at his peers, Fenton, Conroy, McGee, even Glass (to a lesser extent)
None of them engage in the constant macho hardmen act he does
He has become a liability
And he doesn't need too, brilliant footballer when his head is right

Now we have a midfield conundrum. Kilpatrick is looking at a 2 game ban, so he might as well go on holiday.
3rd Choice midfielder, Joe Oguz injured. Fourth choice Aodhan Donaghy injured. Fifth choice Liam Gray injured. Who can partner Kennedy now??

Very good second half yesterday. That's two good second halfs in a row. Is there a performance building in this team??

He be able to focus on his sleep patteen now.

Why make this snide remark?

There's no doubting Meyler's commitment and sincerity. He gives absolutely everything for Tyrone on the field and dedicates so much of his life to it.

Agreed.

Think McShane was brought on yesterday to try and shore it up when Conn went off but we're definitely light there now. Burns has played midfield before but hasn't played much ball this year.

skeog

Conor played reserve game friday night so maybe not out for season.
