Quote from: Saffrongael on April 15, 2024, 02:45:59 PMSad news from Lamh Dhearg, Ryan Straney, senior footballer killed in car accident in Sydney. 96 year old man driving the wrong way up the motorway.

RIP Ryan, a superb young fella.

Every parents with a child abroad worst nightmare.

I am sure the Kevin Bell Trust will be in action again to help the family, they have done so much for people here in their worst moments.

RIP

Awful. RIP. That Kevin Bell charity is fantastic and you would assume would help here - those people are saints. Unfortunately it feels like you're reading about people needing them all too often these days   :(

Looks like all the county men were out last night. Great result from Ballymena despite conceding two goals in the first ten minutes. I wonder how far Stewart is from playing again?

Sad times up on the Hill.

My sister Paula, based in Sydney, along with colleague Katarina look after the entire situation on the ground, and will liaise with Colin Bell and his team for the safe repatriation of Ryan. This has been communicated to appropriate persons in Lamh Dhearg and in turn to the family for the purposes of establishing a clear chain of correspondence between there and here.

As you say ITG, it will probably be a different parish next week.

Are St Galls back? 5 from 5. Best start in a long time surely?

Leagues form and championship form are two different animals

I'm just glad we look like not being relegated

St Galls have obviously been rebuilding for a while now but it looks like there is a crop of quality young players on the verge of coming through now. Would expect them to kick on now compared to recent years
