Attended a few Ballymena games this year, and have to Tip my hat to Liam. He has them going well IN Div1 all be it its early, but obviously staying up is a huge priority for them and they are now in a position where theyve enough points to do so already id think. Though makes me wonder how we havent seen these level of performances in Intermediate. If they hadnt of played so negatively throughout the first few years of his tenure i think they would have an Intermediate under their belt

They look like they are in a good place, and still have a few county players to add back into the team too:

Connor Stewart, Paddy McAleer, Kavan Keenan

Keenan has been a great addition for antrim this year - hardy wee boy. The other two wouldn't be too shabby either.

Good player. Did he play Antrim underage?

I am not sure - BS would maybe know. Definitely looks good though.

Have done two of their games and they are a very decent team, plenty of fit lads willing to get up and down the pitch, defend together and attack together

A lot of teams in the past (hurling and football) manage to get a run a senior after years of struggling in div 2 and manage to up their game compete.

Not sure either, but from talking to BS one day, he was never a corner back, or played anywhere near it for all saints.
Andy obviously saw something, not that corner backs nowadays are anything what they used to be

ocallaghan and ferris have been excellent for ballymena this year, power and pace from the half back line, those two take some watching

100% SO82 about those two!

Let's just say their progress has been noted! Two of our best performers in last years narrow under 20 defeat to Donegal on penalties in Ballybofey..

yep, oCallaghan never put a foot wrong that night in Ballybofey

Watched majority of the Casements v Cloney game last night. was a bit of bite to it in spells though Casements a far fresher fitter team who look hard to beat. Cloney look a tired team and very reliant on their old guard though some of their younger players would get on mist teams. Have to say i thought you lad Lynn was well marshaled and to be fair Casement had a good spread of scorers

Add Cahir Donnelly and Johnny Hannon to the promising U20 players above, both v impressive in Cargin v Aghagallon game last night. Not a dig, but Aghagallon quite negative throughout which made Johnnys coring performance all the more impressive.

With the team they had out It's difficult to 'open' up against such a talented Cargin team away from home?

True. Dont blame any team which are depleted keeping score down and credibility against the likes of Cargin, Casements and Creggan at the moment.

Also seen St.galls where pipped by TNN. after a promising start, Galls surely disappointed at that result. TNN havent been good, though their hurlers are doing rightly

Its the same team nearly for Randalstown, as it is for Clooney..

Tir na Og beat St Enda's last week and have 3 less points than the leaders, so not sure they share your thoughts on 'havent been good'
