Apparently that independent PL panel that looks at "key incidents" and judges refereeing have ruled that Jota should NOT have been sent off.

Wonder will it be too late to get him reinstated for this weekend? Or do the FA care what this panel says?

Hold on. I was told the following on here when i questioned jota's sending off.

"Majority were correct decisions"
"What a meltdown"
"Nobody is out to get you"
"Watched it with red glasses and a wee red flag"

This is murky.

Maybe the rules have changed but I didn't think yellow cards could be overturned, only red.

If they can't overturn the first (debatable) yellow to turn this into a straight ref card decision, then I don't know how it can be overturned at all.

Maybe yellow cards can be overturned now too.

It's the Europa League. Union Saint Gilloise huffed and puffed. Don't think they had a shot on target. You have to be minding your important players for Sunday. There is the win bonus (£) of course and you need to be qualifying from the group as soon as you can. We still won in 2nd gear, even if it was a bit disjointed!

Gravenberch looks to have the potential to be a really good signing based on the cameos to date.

Frustrating result in the end for Liverpool, even though they could also have lost it and looked distinctly second best for the 15 minutes in the first half right before they scored. But 2-1 up and cruising for most of the second, it looked like they'd win 3-1 or 4-1. Gravenberch will have a few nightmares about his miss, but it happens, and he'd a good game. But WTF was Andy Robertson at for the 2nd Brighton goal. That was a handy enough clearance for him. Did he get a shout?

Still, in the top four, three points off the top in a transitional season with four tough away games down... probably ahead of where we expected to be.
