Christ lads United can play worse than that for 45 mins in most games. Do yis nothing think yis are overreacting just a tad.

Perhaps, but this is three games in a row of labouring against relatively inferior team.

At least they're getting it down and moving it about now at the start of the second.

Awful, absolutely awful. That's the worst run I've seen in a good few years.

JoG2

Toothless in midfield without Henderson there. Thiago offered nothing in the final 3rd.

At the moment, the next few weeks could be a bit painful. Villa away and United at home - on current form, hard to see Liverpool doing much against either. Spurs away at the end of the month too.
Villa game is in the FA Cup so wouldn't be too worried about it.
Perfect chance to get back on track in the game after that though.

Liverpool though look like a team that has lost their hunger. Last few seasons have been tremendous but they just aren't at all as sharp or don't seem to be able raise their game this season.

Southampton have a great team.. could they do a Leicester?

It's United's to lose now.

City ahead of United won't be much in game Sunday week. Southampton in fairness to them defended fairly well tonight and should have ahead a 2nd goal near the end.
Wouldn't get too carried away with the loss.

They just look short on ideas going forward when faced with a packed defense. Too slow, not enough movement and slickness to break the lines and create space.

They'll get it back, with Ox and Thiago getting fit and Jota to come back, but it may be too late. They could easily lose another couple of games before then.

United must be licking their lips anticipating hitting Liverpool on the break in two weeks.

Rich Ricci

Jota being injured a huge loss. The amount of minutes the front 3 are clocking up is bound to be taking its toll which may explain the lack of bite in the attack.

I still think Liverpool to win it. I said City would be second, but nowhere near winning it really. Even though United are inconsistent, I fancy them to finish above City. I don't see anything to fear in that City side.

Corner at the end summed them up tonight, last seconds of the game they play a short corner and it nearly ends up back at the half way line.
f**king thing should have been wipped in straight into the box ffs.
