Forcing Chelsea back into their box without creating much. Red card means they'll barely cross halfway probably now. There for Liverpool as long as they watch the ball behind.

Lamps must have brought in Owen Farrell as a tackle coach

Have to disagree with this bizarre assessment. Potentially 45 million on a player who as it stands isn't a starter. Would be understandable if he was some 18 year old wonderkid with huge potential, but he's almost 24 and unlikely to improve dramatically.

Bottom line is he is moving from Wolves' bench to Liverpool's at a cost of 40 odd million which isn't good business on any level.

James Pearce : Key to getting the deal done was Wolves' willingness to be flexible on payment terms. They have accepted less than 10% of the guaranteed figure in the next 12 months. Most of that offset by initial payment from Wolves for Hoever. #LFC

Less than 4.1m for Jota up front and 5m up front for Thiago. Unreal piece of business.
Bottom line is it is a great bit of business.

Does kicking the payments down the line, not mean that liverpool are restricting their budget for the next 2 or 3 transfer markets?
Potentially yes. But money is tight at the minute due to the circumstances and theyll worry about that when the time comes.

Thiago time!

That was seriously impressive from him today. Fair enough, poor tackle for the penalty, but the way he kept that ball moving all around the field was pure class. Especially a few of those no-look passes time try to get people behind. Going to be a difference-maker when teams sit in.

Gabriel_Hurl

Did I see a stat where he completed more passes in the second half than any Chelsea player did in the whole game?

Fab brilliant at CB.

Doesn't look like Thiago is going to need much settling in time.  Most players under Klopp need 6 months to a year.  He slots right in.
That's just, like your opinion man.
