City ceiling is a good bit higher than Liverpool's. Liverpool won't put six past someone like Chelsea, plus City are far more likely to get a result at Old Trafford than Liverpool

Capt Pat

Chelsea got thumped 4-0 by Bournemouth a couple of games ago. So todays result was not a huge surprise.

Chelsea manager might be lucky to see tomorrow out.

Put 5 past Arsenal. Could surely put 6 past someone like Chelsea.

Couldn't put 2 past Brighton Leicester or West Ham!
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

Won't be getting any help from Chelsea today anyway...
City showing why they are favourites for the league.

Only if Liverpool bottle it surely?

Thanks Chelsea..... ::) ::)

I was hoping at least one of Arsenal/Chelsea would take a couple of points off City but not to be. Chelsea's capitulation yesterday has more or less given City an extra point because of the Goal difference margin so it means Liverpool cannot lose again. Given we still have Spurs/Chelsea and utd to play I have a bad feeling we will be depending on a United victory over City. Really cannot see City dropping points anywhere else.

Good performance on Saturday but some of those misses were really poor and could have really boosted the goal difference.

Hopefully we'll see a couple of players back to fitness over the coming weeks and that will help us to kick on again. The second choice players didn't step up and grab their chance again Leicester and W Ham but great to see Keita having a decent game at the weekend.  Going to be tough if City get into their groove again and can only hope they might get a bit distracted with the cl and drop a couple of points. But when you're trying to win a league for the first time in 30 years no one's going to hand it to you, obviously.
That's just, like your opinion man.

How much would it cost to get this sancho lad in. He's giving spurs fits

Firmino a doubt for tomorrow night.  Gonna be a tough ask with VVD missing as well.
When you think you're fucked you're only about 40% fucked.

Lovren is out as well according to reports. I don't understand why they didn't bring in an extra defender in the transfer window.

I don't think the Gomez set back helped things. When the decision was made, Gomez was to be back in a few games, Lovren's injury was not going to keep him out as long and VVD was only out for 1 games because of suspension. If they'd of brought someone in, they probably wouldn't even have played...maybe against wolves. You then have a player sitting maybe on the bench who you really don't need, taking the spot of a young fella who then doesn't gain any experience etc
