A dominant centre-back, a reliable left-back and a dynamic centre midfielder are all high up on Jurgen Klopp's wish-list. (James Pearce)

Add those (hopefully VDV, Keita and not sure on the LB) to Salah and that would be a great summer of business.

Salah will be another lad who is lost for the ACN.

In fairness that's not until 2019, so who knows who'll be around then. Champions of England, and Europe, can pick who they want.

Not until Jan 2019 so a couple of windows after this one to strengthen further...can't be put off by ACN's players just because they may potentially miss a month or so. Mane is obviously fresh in everyone's mind but he wasn't the only reason we had an awful month. Keita is Guinean, do we steer clear of him as well?

Edit...Oh just seen you above post

That's what I just said :)

But it does have to be a consideration in all seriousness. If the spine of your squad is made of up African players, you are exposed. Keita, Salah and Mané all leaving for one tournament would be a significant loss. If LFC can cover for that in Jan 2019, then we'll have a strong squad.

I'll be reserving my judgement on any of these signings until....

Stallion gives his utterances on them.

How about worrying about next season and leave 2019 till 2019!!!  Salah will be a success. If Keita  and VVD come in then that will be a serious transfer window. Any kind of LB would be useful but a great one much better. Not the priority signing but one that will definitely be needed.

If they qualify...Egypt failed to qualify 3 of last 5, Guinea the same and Senegal have missed 2 of the last 5.

I'm actually hearing Klopp does not want the 3 i mentioned and instead will be bringing in Caulker (hey at least he can play up front), Gerrard (player/coach) and Milner will continue at LB...genius!

FFS put the rod away gawa!!!

Rumours of Gomez leaving gathering pace. Hopefully if he does it is just a loan.  The month or so he played under Brodge at LB showed serious potential before the injury nightmare

Salah can sprint with the Gods, 70m in 7 seconds on grass with boots and ball. Klopp likes a good runner.

Another counter attacking player.

Problem is allowing the opposition the ball and inviting them onto you normally results in a goal or two due to the ropey defence, especially from crosses!

Seen that stat doing the rounds. Not a hope in hell is that true. Sure the WR for 60m is 6.39s.
