Quiet in here today. Perhaps some people are beginning to realise I have been right all along about Klopp.
Klopp doing a great job. Brought a pub team to a European final.  Man's a genius.

Liverpool and Seville fans entered the matrix last night....

Back to the match. Liverpool should have had a couple of penalties(3 of them) in the first half. And Lovrens header was perfectly good on its own if Sturridge had not been standing in an offside position. On to the second half if we could just have held them scoreless for a little bit longer than 17 seconds, it is a completely different ball game. Seville got a big confidence boost from that opening goal. Moreno just let the player slip the ball through his legs which is just not good enough. From there the game was lost, we didn't perform in the second half.
I don't know if any of those handballs would merit a penalty - the first one at a push. The second-half was the most major concern. Yes Moreno was all over the shop but the biggest issue for me was that when Sevilla equalised Liverpool had no leader in the Stevie G mould to calm the situation and use the rest of the second half to push on and win based on what they were doing in the first half. They just fell apart.

Stevie G was there last year in the Villa semi-final debacle. Takes more than just one man. Plus, they'd no problem rousing themselves against Dortmund. But it was like the Watford game all over again in the second half - they were just getting bullied, with Sevilla winning all the 50/50s and running harder.

Was that the first game of football you've watched?

How many were deliberate? Hitting a man on the hand with the ball from a yard away isn't a foul.

Liverpool. Should have been out of sight by the end of the first half, for me they should have had two penalties and the tremendous goal scored by Sturridge should have had them at least three up.

Moreno was awful in the second half but has played well for Liverpool in this tournament, too many Liverpool players had no answer for what their direct opponent threw at them in the second half.

Klopp has improved these players and they really respond to him, he has done a great job with what he has and i fear what he is going to do in the summer, in relation to the quality of player he brings in.

As a united supporter of sorts I was hoping Liverpool would win, I enjoy the atmosphere Liverpool bring to the table, totally different to OT these days!

Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

These things even themselves out over the season, some you get when not expecting and some you don't when you want it the most!! I think Sevilla had a penalty claim also but didn't get it
None of us are getting out of here alive, so please stop treating yourself like an after thought. Ea

I was more annoyed about the offside goal than the penalty shouts. The rule on offside is clear and the linesman raised his flag. The rule is garbage in relation to handball as 2 of them caused clear interference in potential goal chances (Firmino and I think a pass from Coutinho). However, as it was adjudged as ball to hand the ref didn't give it. Fergie's mate Graham Poll said the ref was correct on all handball decisions.

"Klopp has improved these players and they really respond to him, "

I could be wrong but I don't think Liverpool have finished lower in the Premier League than Klopp has managed this season. Some response from the players to him lol. Ridiculous how some people can't accept he's done a poor job so far.

Aaron Boone

The bare stats don't lie but he did play weakened teams once the Europa League gig really got going. So there were more potential Premier League points forgone.

This time next year is the time to judge.
