Captain Obvious

Goal out of the blue a fine strike in fairness the game had 0-0 written all over it however a win that Liverpool will gladly take.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Spura all playing catch up. It's on!!! :P

Bingo

Never in doubt. Some team, Barcelona-lite.

Great win against one of the toughest teams to beat at home in England.

Stoke will feel aggrieved but to me that strike was deserving to win any game, absolutely sublime finish!
Armagh, the one true love of a mans life.

Which of the Spanish sides will be first to start sniffing around Coutinho if he keeps popping up with these crackers?

Fabulous goal! Never really looked like getting three points and I don't think many teams will get three at Stoke to be honest. They'll get better with every game as new additions settle.
Benteke looked a bit isolated and I definitely think Liverpool will have to change a style of play they've worked hard to settle on to accommodate his pace and power.
big improvement on the tanking we got in Stoke a couple of months ago!
Who's a bit of a moaning Michael tonight!

Guys I'm in Heysel in the morning anyone know is there a memorial or the like I can visit?? Ta

That was a real dogfight. It was good to see a bit more physicality in the side in the shape of Benteke and Can towards the end to match Stoke. Gomez looks a good prospect and the defence looked fairly solid. Hopefully it's an early sign that Rodgers is finally understanding that being solid at the back is the foundation for the team's development.   Maybe Lovren will kick on this season.  Poor going forward, with Benteke struggling on his own a bit up front with too many defenders to deal with.  Brilliant from Countinho, and that type of finish is becoming his trademark.
That's just, like your opinion man.

Lovren was fairly commanding today I thought. Anything to read into Lucas and Sakho not making the 18?

I read sakho's missus gave birth this week but not sure if true

Sahko hadnt trained all week due to his wife giving birth.
Rummours that all isnt right between Rodgers and Lucas, so he could be gone before the window closes.
I can only please one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow doesn't look good either

The Brendan Rodgers Cliche Counter 2015/2016 (From Post Match Press Conferences Only)

Outstanding - 3

I thought it was an outstanding collective performance.
He (Benteke) was outstanding today.
Nathaniel Clyne has been outstanding since he's come in.

Character - 2
The players we brought in have that character
It was about performing well and showing the character

Quality - 4

We know we've got the quality to win a game.
Like I said, we know we've got the quality to win.
You've seen his (Benteke's) quality today
Today you've seen a team with the determination, the fight and the will and obviously the quality.
