Thankfully not another defeat..

Mourinho's negativity cost them there. Happy days

Captain Obvious

Both goals poorly defended set pieces. In fairness a draw probably a fair result.

GJL

Deserved at least a point. Great performance. Impressed with Sideshowbob.

Was our best player but don't let anybody hear that.

Performance of the season without a doubt. Point fully deserved.

Good to see Mourinho get what he deserved, they were the better team until he decided to shut up shop and play for a one nil win. Delighted to see those negative tactics punished at the death.

It was a good United performance,  but  there had to be some reaction at home after a lot of mediocre performance so far. They still have a lot of improvement to do

Maroon Manc

It was a promising performance, a draw was about the right result.

Delighted for RVP, he's getting a diary bit of criticism the last few weeks, he played very well today.

Fellaini did ok, he serves a purpose at the moment mainly he adds height to the team but I don't see him as a permanent fixture in this team going forward. Lack of height is a problem given the size of both fullbacks, I like Rafael but won't be surprised if LVG replaces him. I'm still not convinced Blind is doing enough to keep Carrick out of the team, Carrick extra height would be a bonus too.

I'd love to have seen Mata been a success but he's not. I can't see him been at the club this time next year.

Not looking forward to next week, well do well to get a point but we will give them more of a game than we did last season.

Shrewdness

It's not beyond United to get something from the City game next weekend. Hopefully Rooney's return will provide a boost. Didn't Stoke win at the Etihad this season? A few City players struggling for form this season.

GJL

There is a possibility Aguero will be suspended due to a bad tackle that was missed by the ref yesterday. That would be a big bonus. Utd are capable of getting a result there if they carry today's form into next weekend.

mrdeeds

No further action is being taken against Aguero.

tiempo

Back in the day when Utd were all conquoring they would face Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle, etc. - success starved clubs, and those clubs were going through the wheel of mediocrity, what would happen is that they would go hell for leather for 90 mins v Utd and on occasion get a result. Utd are now fulfilling this role in the league.

They will raise their game v Chelsea, City, Arsenal, Liverpool but are found wanting against "lesser" teams. The fault lies at the door of the players, though I don't think LVG is much to write home about either. If these players can put in that effort today but not v Swansea, Southampton, etc. week after week then they are bluffing the bit out. If they did put that effort in each week they would be picking up 3 points much more often.

Shrewdness

tiempo, it would have to be acknowledged that there has been a lot of change at United. A lot of new players have come in and are still trying to settle in. Put that with a new manager trying to implement his ideas and playing style etc and it's all bound to result in some dodgy results in the meantime..I wouldn't necessarily agree that the players haven't been putting in the effort. Some more quality acquisitions in the January and summer windows should see United back as serious title contenders next season.

screenexile

Chelsea should gave been out of sight in fairness. As much as it pains me GNev was spot on. Chelsea by far the best team in the league but their failure to go on and score 2/3 against the better teams will be their undoing.

They were head and shoulders above Utd but didn't drive home the advantage. They'll win the league but anything further is beyond them I'd say.

Was Ivanovic's 'foul' really a foul? Looked dodgy as f**k!
