The only thing that is clear from this thread is that the vast majority of the people posting on it have not watched ANY of the games in either Junior in intermediate this year. Or any other year for that matter.

For anyone that is interested here is a breakdown of each counties performance at Ulster Senior Club from 2000-2024. Every County has won one bar Cavan Fermanagh and Monaghan.

Armagh 31 Wins 16 Losses
Down 27 Wins 22 Losses
Tyrone 22 Wins 22 Losses
Donegal 17 Wins 23 Losses
Monaghan 17 Wins 24 Losses
Antrim 15 Wins 22 Losses
Fermanagh 10 wins 24 Losses
Cavan 9 wins 24 Losses

I don't think it's very fair that the Derry teams get to play a lot more matches than the other counties.......

Can't see Clonmore doing much with only a week turnaround. Couple of handy players but not a particularly strong team.

From now on only clubs that aren't good enough to win the Junior or Intermediate Club competitions should be allowed to enter the respective competition!!

Ciaran Henry of Lavey has looked great in the 2 games I saw him play. 

Fair play to Castledawson, who played every game in the senior league, 15 infact and eventually got relegated, but took it on the chin. No emails to the CCC looking to get put into next seasons intermediate league & not finishing out their league games.

Your attack on Drumsurn is funny. Did one of their ex-Derry minor players or College stars get a turn at your ex-mrs one night?

College stars? Ex- Derry minor player. I think their ex Derry minor players are about 40 at this stage and can't recall any college stars.
Lets try and keep statements half true/ realistic.

Anyone with even a smidgin of interest in Derry football could name them off the top of their head, the fact you think there is none is indicative of your lack of knowledge of derry football. Stop embarassing yourself.

Anyone who has had the misfortune to work in an organisation with useless leadership will immediately recognise how the onfield performances are a reflection of the organisation as a whole. Feel really sorry for the succession of managers who have come in and had to deal with that shit show.

The onfield performances will never improve consistently whilst the same incompetents remain in charge.

This is still the situation at Utd.

They have had a string of managers, some of them world class operators, blew billions on players and continue to go backwards, that wont change whilst the same people are at the top.

Quite a lot of the side to side 'shite' is already foot passing.

The Donegal players went into their shell yesterday, hence many of their big game players were not at the races.

They were making passes, runs, catches, going for breaking ball, taking shots but doing all of these things without their customary conviction, whilst the Kerry lads had absolute conviction in spades in everything they did.

I think Jim has to take a lot for the blame for that, he needed to send his players out to embrace the occasion and show what they could do, instead he misleadingly named the wrong starting team, came out late, left the parade early etc which IMO are gimmicks that a penny ante junior manager would get up to.

He looked flustered along the line as well when things were not going to plan which couldn't have helped his players.

Having said that he has done some job over the past 2 years, he maybe overthought things this time. 

Don't know much about McMahon as a manager but if his efforts at punditry are any reflection of his knowledge of the game he would be hard pressed to get a club underage gig. 

It would be interesting to see what would happen in Hyde if teams were level with 5 mins to go. I reckon Donegal would need to initiate the "ease off" first and play keep ball and then our lads would get the "message" to do the same. If that were to happen both teams would be in for a media slating I'd say, spirit of the game and all that bull.

I reckon it will happen for sure. It may even happen with 10 mins to go.
