Well done Errigal a real team performance from them. How did Dromore have only one man sent off? Would like to read an assessors report on that. Striking is no longer a cardable offence in Tyrone. Big win for Ronan McGuckin in his second year in managment

I happen to know who the most fouled player on the field was....

Yes everyone who watched saturday nights game (bar the ref linesmen and umpires) know Peter Harte was the most fouled man. It was tag team WWE stuff for 60min  ;D

Should striking not be a red card?

Fair play to errigal but fergal daly is a absolute cheating ****.
Wee Roddy don't blame the Ref Wee Dan was stupid and Daily should have followed him. The behaviour of your players and supporters afterwards was a disgrace. Attacking and threatening officials is wrong. If some one is to blame look at the indiscipline of your players and the negative tactics that cost you badly. Expect sanctions for what happend.

Pick of both teams wouldn't give Dromore a game. Omagh couldnt cope with the loss of both joe and Ronan.  Dromore Cmore final can see fireworks! Shocking display by ref again!!! how many yellow cards did he give? Very inconsistent in what was a free one min and saw a yellow card went completely unpunnished a min later. Daisy got red for a hit on the ball while Omagh number 4 went unpunished for his late hit on Peter harte in front of ref. He is a poor one and obviously doesn't like davey Harte. Clonoe must still be kicking themselves. Where will semi finals be? Double header in Omagh?

http://www.ulsterherald.com/2012/09/06/tyrone-gaa-to-investigate-dromore-player-eligibility/

Seems to be some confusing signs over the last 24 hours as to wherever Sludden was actually eligible to come on as a sub. If it turns out that Dromore played him on the basis of a formal letter/email from a county board official who misinterpreted the rule book, the excrement is going to hit the blower.

If they have a letter/email from county board official then they are in the clear. They cannot be blamed for a county board mistake.

If they have no official notification then they are fooked

Have they actually been officially excluded or is it still under investigation?

Wrong. Regardless if the CCC or someone from there gave them the go ahead if the rule book states it is illegal then it is an infringement. An incorrect letter from some clown is not a get out of jail card i'm afraid.

The sending off was two yellows. Just trying to confirm if he had been sent off before for the same.
Looks like Ardboe clutching at straws.
Half the story - after these two yellows the player got dressed and went over the wire to continue to fight. This is a much more serious infraction and if included in referees report then Dromore and player are in trouble.

Holy Jesus The Horse is back. Last night he was meant up for the Derry job with Cathal Corry and tonight he is in the Tyrone set up. It's like an episode of Father Ted

I would've thought so before yesterday's game but now that omagh lost their first choice midfield yesterday so I would've hoped that enda and cormac will be able to handle omaghs second choice midfield. In saying that we will still be underdogs I presume.

Wouldn't call Grugan and Tierney a poor second choice midfield!

Not sure what Joe actually did but the head but was clear to everyone. Young Grugan was outstanding in the second half when game was in the mix. Omagh growing in confidence and even with the missing players will give a young Errigal team a stern test.
Anyone news regarding a bit of bad manners at Dromore Trillick minor game hear there may be repercussions for Dromore club and a suspended player who returned to the action!

Forgot about O'Neill being missing. Grugan was v.impressive as was Barry tierney, Clarke terrible.

I hope Francie Gallagher is a betting man because at least that would explain his performance in Errigal Carmen game. Baffling decisions mostly in favour of Carmen who were chasing the game.

Poor performance cleaned out at midfield again. Thought Barry Tierney was the pick of the team looks like a player Harte would like. Agree that there seemed to be more talent on bench than started Stephen Mullan not on squad but a better option than Tiernan McCann who was very poor. Cavan seemed to grow into the game and looked the hungrier team. Ref was shocking but poor decisions both ways but seemed to favour Cavan he ruined what should have been a good game.

As a Tyrone man I am sad to say gamesmanship has become a big part of our club scene. Something the CCC and referees have turned a blind eye (ear) to. Needs cut out of our game now starting in the league, zero tolerance with strong punishments. But seeing how the county board dealt with last years proceedings we will probably have to wait for another major row to hit the Irish news before heads come out of the sand.
