Provincial Councils don't need a vote in Congress to influence things buicìn . ;)
Big media coverage of Gaelic games ends with the AIFs.

Big deal.
Shorting the county season had the potential to improve the club scene and therefore  improve participation.
True but I'm telling you why it wasn't voted through.

I have to say, I have been disappointed with congress this year.
I wouldn't have been for the mark (at least without a proper trial) but i suppose we will just have to wait and see how that works.
The biggest disappointment though is not moving the AI finals forward and not getting rid of replays.
These are the two things that could have helped club football and club fixtures hugely and somehow we have decided not to do it.

I cant really understand the logic for defeating either motion.  :-\  :-[
Replays = € for the Powerful Provincial Councils
Earlier AI Finals - loss of more media space to soccer/rubby.

What would the change have been to?
Sinn Féin and loony left running wild for a year fighting the EU/ECB till reality would hit home.

A shower of fkn cnts who let their builder/ banker/ auctioneer mates destroy the State's economy in return for frequenting the Galway tent.
A shower who were the only Government in the history of the State who had the money and resources to improve the Health system and give children proper schools etc instead of freezing five year olds in prefabs.
But no - they let neo Liberal PDs and Charles CNT McCreevy erode the tax base while throwing taxpayer's money at people who didn't need it e.g SSIAs and property tax breaks.
Any other amount if swear words you can cone up with
.
As for the 24% of so and sos that voted for them....

Enough of this British Health Service crisis and get back to the subject of the thread.
FF seem to want a Govt administered by FG and others but with FF having a veto on everything.
I expect they will keep such a lame duck thing running till the October 2017 budget where they will pull the plug on some populist issue.
Meanwhile there could be some interesting discussions in FG one of which will no doubt be Enda's retirement date.
Do the remains of Labour go into the lame duck Govt or try to rebuild and steal some thunder from SF in opposition?

Aisy on with talking up lads.
Always best to get Kerry in Round 1 or 2 before they get into any sort of shape.
Cork were very sluggish without the ball while we were flying with it.
We have good forwards who can do damage with that yard of space and couple of seconds afforded to us by Cork.

Let's try and ensure safety on Sunday firstly, then use the remaining games to give more of the panel some exposure to D1 and try and solve some of our problem positions.

When do the changes take effect?

does anyone know when the changes come in?

2016 Championship I think. Also, wasn't the mark trialled a few years ago, 2013 I think?

It's coming in  in Ulster on 1st May but 1/1/17 for the rest.
So when does it come in for clubs?
Just for the championship?
or from the start of this years club season?

The answer to this question is usually themselves.

Did Willie Hegarty have on-air 'organisms' on Shiteside radio last Sunday?
Stick to ye're cowboy music and leave football to us. :P

And don't forget the 400 million descendants of those Europeans who illegally invaded the Americas.
Trump will be sending them all back to Europe.

Micky Martin wants a load of Dàil reform before Government negotiations begin.
Presumably he's still looking at being in some kind of benign opposition?

Will the Hyde be playable?
On form we should win this but the boggy Hyde might slow us down somewhat.

Perhaps to ensure its aim some supplemental rule could be added:
If the player accepts the free then he must only kick pass forward, not back
+1.

Most of the Indies are either left wing (the 2 Tipp lads, Wallace,  Connolly, O Sullivan, Zappone, Daly) or anti corruption right wing (Ross and co). FG and FF stand for the same ould shite.

What left wing? Mattie McGrath left wing? Seamus Healy maybe, but Mattie is FF gene pool. Lowry is obviously not. Not sure Mick Wallace would be a socialist really.

FF and FG 'stand for' what most people in this country stand for I'd imagine. Slightly right of centre financially, slightly left of centre socially.
Anyone advocating social housing is LW.  You would think FF and FG would but they are wedded to neoliberalism.
I suppose Wallace could be an Irish left winger as they don't believe in paying tax....
