It is fairly tough i give ye that so i'll give one set of 4  clubs for one of the players and ye can guess the name

Celtic
Notts Forest
Benfica
Feyenoord

So one player has played for these four European cup winning clubs but never actually won the cup himself,There are 3 other players who are also in this situation

I think that question about British winners of the European Cup is well off the mark. McManaman, Lambert and Hargreaves are fair enough, but Keegan played in a final for Hamburg and lost, and was at Southampton by the time they won it in 1983. Wilkins never won it, Archibald lost in the final to Steaua Bucharest.
I think the three mentioned might be the only correct answers.

Who did it in 1980?

Three quick questions.

Name the players to play in 2 consecutive european cup finals for different clubs

Name all the players to score in the champions league final and the premiership

Name the players to captain teams to win the champions league and play in the premiership

Will need to check exact numbers for each and will get back to you.

If you know the answer off hand please don't post and no googling either..

I am an international player who scored 10 goals in my native country before being signed by a top Premiership club, but I only scored once after my arrival. I was then sold to another European club where I failed to score, although I did score for my country during this spell. I was subsequently purchased by a different Premiership club where I only scored once. I was then sold to a third English club where I failed to score. I am regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.

Who am I?

Heard this today which if accurate might be the most useless stat in the history of football stats.

The two professional teams who have played the most often at senior level without their ever being a draw between them but with both teams winning at least once played on Wednesday night who are they?

Note its not the teams that have gone the most games without a draw ever its just the two teams who hold the record at the minute.

I havent checked the accuracy of the stat and I am relaying on Talk Sport being right on this

Sorry. Two teams played each other last night for the 16th time. None of those matches has ever ended in a draw but both teams have won at least once. That is apparently the current world record for any fixture involving professional teams. Who are the two teams?

Correct.  I thought TalkSport had said 15 previous meetings without a draw but they must have said that last night was there 15th meeting and no previous meeting has ended in a draw which is a world record for two professional teams when both teams have won at least once in that time.

They were stripped of their league title not the European Cup.

Quotename the 13 foreign players that featured on the opening weekend in 1992 of the premier league?

Names of that era.

Thorsvedt, Nayim and Bergsson of Spurs.

Cantona of United.

John Jensen of Arsenal.

Molby, Grobelaar of Liverpool.

Peter Ndlovu might have been on the go. Roy Wegerle too. There was another American of that vintage who player full-back and midfield for Sheffield Weds, but can't remember his name.

Johnny Metgod might still have been around.

Johnny Metgod might still have been around.

Would ROI players not be considered as foreign?

Not trying to turn it into anything just wondered is all.
ROI players would have technically been foreign players wouldn't they?

Quotename the 13 foreign players that featured on the opening weekend in 1992 of the premier league?

Names of that era.

Thorsvedt, Nayim and Bergsson of Spurs.

Cantona of United.

John Jensen of Arsenal.

Molby, Grobelaar of Liverpool.

Peter Ndlovu might have been on the go. Roy Wegerle too. There was another American of that vintage who player full-back and midfield for Sheffield Weds, but can't remember his name.

Johnny Metgod might still have been around.

Would ROI players not be considered as foreign?

Welsh,Scots, Northern Irish and ROI players didn't count as foreigners in the the 3 foreigner rule ..

That's the boy Heffo.

There was a big feature on him when Weds made the cup final in either 92 or 93. I'd be pretty sure he played in the opening season.

Aye both were probably around back then. I think Roy Wegerle was playing for Blackburn around then too as there was some hype about him and Harkes etc.

Saw this on Question of Sport the other week and thought I'd ask it here. Other than the five teams who have won the premier league what remaining ten teams would make up the top 15 in the all Premier League points table?
Easily googled I'm sure but where would the fun in that be  :)

From Wikipedia: Port Vale is one of the few English league clubs not to be named after a geographical location, their name being a reference to the valley of ports on the Trent and Mersey Canal.

What about the two boys that put twitter haywire yesterday.

They set up a question to name a player that played with a list of players, under a manager and won a list of trophies.

It went viral before it emerged that they had made it up and was no correct answer.
