The point is I have seen the terms 'Belfast wankers' and 'Belfast spides' used on this. In my opinion Dungannon has a lot of wankers and spides same as Cookstown, Strabane and Omagh but you would never get people generalising those from that town as wankers or spides. One of my best mates in Uni was a Belfast lad top bloke, true gael and anyone I ever met through him was a gent and nothing compared to some of the pond life you get running amoke in our towns. I just think the place and people from it gets a bad press. Spent mays a night away from the local student spots in 'local' bars in the north of the city in what would be classed as a 'spide' area and it was anything but.

The Holylands problem is not helped by the fact renshaws is closed.

Now instead of spreading the population between the upper and lower areas of the H Lands, the entire student population congregate around the Hatfield in the lower area.

Queens should consider some sort of enertainment/club around the top area of the holylands to restore balance in this regard.

The students union isnt far from the top of the holylands.
Theres also the empire, taphouse etc handy as well

Come on now, I don't think I have drank in any of those... Sure why not just head down to the NI Supporters Club at Shaftesbury Square wearing your local club top! It was just Renshaws, maybe Dukes at a push, now there's nowhere...

I'd say most of them boys will be from Armagh or Tyrone. Most of them would be non students too.

I'd say you are correct
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something
