i keep hearing how great hurling is so i gone to some games this year.
half the players have beer bellys missin teeth and cant run.a load of them think theyre mighty swinging a bit of ash aroun.
a defender hits the ball down the field 80 meters and its always a great hit even if the other team gets the ball.if a defender in football hits the ball 50 meters into the hands of the other team he will be taken off.
the best laugh i had was seeing a penalty being taken and the player missing the ball totally. :D :D :D :D :D
hurling is for failed footballers and loners.

Might I respectively suggest that if he was banned for being an idiot, then if the Administrators would be left with very few posters if they took the same line across the board  ;)

As to hurling - it's brilliant game with exceptionally high levels of skill and fitness.
Anyone travelling to Leeds to work/study are welcome to join St. Benedicts Harps GAA in Leeds.

hurling is the most unbelievable game in the world, tho us nordies feel a bit resentful that our version was abandoned and the verison they play today was adopted.  This version never caught on up north

ONeill

Will it ever catch on in Mid-Ulster?
I wanna have my kicks before the whole shithouse goes up in flames.

Do Carryduff play in Wexford colours?

Think I mind getting brought down/over as a wean with the Davitts of Belfast and we handed their arses to them in football. It was either they had just started up or had opened new pitches or something, as young as i was we were quite jealous of them, gleaming new kits and their own pitches - the stuff of fairytale to us  ;D

Very well organised even then, well off the pitch at least.
