Got me thinking about a film i remember seeing years ago (on video) it was one of best films i ever watched. Return to paradise it was called, something along the same lines of Midnight express i think. Anyone know where i could get the likes of that now?

It has got great reviews and the trailers looked good. I'd like to see it in the cinema though.

Watched Vicky Christina Barcelona on Saturday night. Enjoyed it alright but dunno what Penelope Cruz did to justify an Oscar. Finally watched Slumdog Millionaire last night months after everyone else. Thought it was excellent. Makes me glad I grew up in Ireland!

My advice go watch in the cinema, it was brilliant. Some of them young actors were awesome and the special effects and story were very good. 9.5/10 for me. Enjoy.

Have to agree, not a trekkie and expected it to be a let down. Probably one of the best movies you'll see all summer and the complete opposite to Terminator Salvation. Looking forward to Transformers now but it will probably be rubbish, at least Megan Fox will compensate or that ;)

The Corporal

Agree with the last few posts, Star Trek was an excellent film with a good young cast. It was funny in parts too but overall a really enjoyable film. Id say most non-trekkies would find it good

I didn't like Star Trek, thought it was stupid.

The only thing I liked about it was that they hit the big reset button. So all the mountain of useless information that Trekkers have accumulated over the years is now void. Smart move by the film makers, as they won't be nitpicking over inaccuracies in the film and further films.

Saw the hangover there the other night and there were bits in it when I nearly pissed myself.
Best bit of the whole film is when they just wake up! You can totally relate to how they feel!

full back

Saw that Hangover last week as well
Easy enough viewing & a bit of a laugh

Would be perfect viewing for when you have a hangover

Just saw a trailer for Bruno. He's interviewing some Islamic fella and tells him that Osama looks like a dirty wizard or homeless santa  :D

Think that the Bruno thing has lost some of the magic that Borat had.
Looks a little too scripted?

Seen the hangover there tonight, great film, best one i've seen in a while.

Strongly suggest fans of films like old school (I know there's a few on board) go and see it!
